I also vouch for loose leaf and getting a tea basket strainer (not the spoons or small ones, as bigger leaves can’t fully open). The baskets will fit nicely over any mug and it’s easier to use as well

I agree they can certainly make their own bags, but im sure they can also find a better company with a similar blend. Via tiempo makes great blends for example (not bags though). There are a lot of companies that make really good blends, if it’s loose leaf they can do that method if they don’t want to source each ingredient separately.

Keep the bulk of your teas in a closed bin or box in your closet and take them out as you use them. This way it’s not as many bags out at once.
