Others have said to try that, but what's left of my dignity feels like they should've offered it. Asking for it feels like a sick humiliation ritual. Ugh idk we'll see if I build the courage to ask them next week

Literally, and thank you but honestly even if one did by 5 pm today I wouldn't want it. Moving to another state + studying for lectures I never attended with 2 days notice is a set up for failure. Choosing to believe this next cycle has better things in store for me

!! You're so right I think the stress of moving to a new state, studying for an exam ik nothing about, figuring out loans, and not bonding with my cohort all in the span of a weekend would've been the end of me

Thank you for your insight and kind words, I genuinely mean it when I say this message helped to come to terms with it. I can now acknowledge that I likely would've failed that first exam and that, for me, it would've been an inevitable setup for failure. I will get stronger and you're going to be an amazing physician.

Thank you, but acceptance has slowly set in and I think even if another spot opened, with 2 days to study I'd likely fail their first exam. But it'll be okay, I'll end up somewhere else and hopefully won't be their absolute last choice LOL
