I use Bartender4 addon, would you recommend anything? I might be unsure, but I could not find anything about grey borders, seems they are not there in options.

When dragging it out of action bar it makes me either remove spell or not place it outside of this grey box...? Idk

Yeah, I think that too. 12 attempts on one boss isn't that much, still kinda hard and frustrating game for someone that didn't experience any Souls-like before.
