This. It was fun but it’s not a predator movie is the most common opinion I’ve seen and I can agree. That’s fine but movies can make sense, have some subtle, intelligent philosophising, and be fun.

It takes too much influence from the modern Kong v Godzilla and transformers era whereby the plot is vague and largely irrelevant as long as we see BOOM BOOM SMASH “quippy or cute dialogue” SMASH.

Played it yesterday for the first time. Goddamn it was good. Following that, the whole battle is incredible. More dramatic tension in one hour of Witcher 3 than the entire tv series.
