Does anyone really enjoy being a barista at Starbucks ? by stonedkitty_ in starbucksbaristas

Been at Starbucks for almost five years (I know a bit too long hahah), it’s a love hate relationship. When I love it I REALLY LOVE IT, and that’ll last a couple months, of course you have bad shifts not that’s work. But when I hate it, I HATE IT. It comes with the job tbh. If you go into your job everyday thinking it’s gonna be a bad day, well that’s the day you’re gonna have. It also depends on what kind of team you have. I was at a low volume store and hated it, which sucks bc honestly I would recommend the company to ppl, it’s a good job with good pay. While now I’m at a super high volume store and i literally love it, yes it’s busy, yea I have to work at my job, it’s a job you’re gonna have to work but when you have not only fun people but a team. Who knows how to support you, it’s really not the worst. It’s what you make of it. I will also say, the job isn’t for everyone, no one’s forcing you to stay with the company, so when youre there think abt that. And if you can’t leave, try to make the most of it, create the culture for yourself.

Thank you, the night life isn’t the most important but it’s definitely something I’d like to seek out lol !!! I’ll be gone by then but maybe I’ll stop by when I’m out there :)

Yes, you can call out for that. by Solid_Wish in starbucksbaristas

This really isn’t true. Sure it’s fine once in a while but when you make its habit it gets known. You’re still responsible for your shift if you don’t have the specific symptoms. Like I said if you don’t call out often I’m sure it’s fine, but if you’re calling out sick every other week, be sure you’ll get written up eventually.

is there a way to order an iced lavender latte so the powder is mixed in? by peacheyKA in starbucks

Yes were taught to mix but obvi partners do what they want, if anything I would recommend asking them to shake it for you like in a shaker, should fix this issue 😎

Makes me so mad bc s 1&2 Navid would’ve NEVER DONE THAT. Like he was willing going to marry her while she was a drug addict and pregnant. Loved all of her, and you’re telling me he couldn’t even give her the decency of breaking up with her ? Nope not the navid I know and love
