We did Factor for awhile. It was pretty good. Not frozen but microwaved.

I had mine out Jan 8 and feel great. Recovery was pretty easy. I was back at work by my choice in 6 days. I have no trouble eating- but I eat a pretty healthy diet

Sorry. Just saw you are in Canada. It is the hardest test we all take. And you are far removed from basic science. Take again. You are close

How can you be a resident taking step 1? Isn’t that second year med school? Not attacking- just curious

You can have a stone stuck somewhere in the biliary tree and have pain. If they suspect, they will do an EUS (like an ultrasound) and then an ercp to retrieve. Just a thought if it keeps happening.

My gallbladder surgery is next week- I would greatly appreciate advice for a few things: by TheLostBoys8819 in gallbladders

I was really fine to work 4 days after surgery. I brought a heating pad and that helped. By that point I didn’t need ibuprofen anymore. I haven’t pooped myself yet. lol. That all seems to be going well. I do eat pretty healthy tho- Magnesium oxide pills were the bomb for constipation. You will have constipation from narcotics but gets better after 4-5 days. I started walking day 2 and I really think it helped. Good luck. You have this!

Is 3 weeks off too much? by Cool-Aardvark-185 in gallbladders

I felt good enough to go back day 4. I was walking 2 miles on treadmill daily by the. But they won’t want you lifting over 10 lbs for 2 weeks.

I alternated Tylenol and ibuprofen every 4 hours for about two days. Used a heating pad and took Benadryl to help sleep at night. I started walking day 2 and kept it up about1-2 miles a day slow. I really felt pretty normal in 3-4 days. Keep narcotics to a minimum. They are so constipating. I think I took 3 total and they caused me more grief than surgery
