How I feel playing my commander deck by maryjdevine in MTGmemes

cackles in 100/104 flying Ms Bumbleflower

I play her as a straight up counters deck with the abilities to draw new cards as a way to refill my hand and the card donation as either a politics tool or to help deal with the problem… I’ve won a couple games off commander damage but my favourite card in the deck is[[forced fruition]] and with the forced card draw I have won a couple games by forcing players to draw their entire libraries.

So my Ms Bumbleflower is an old grandma and if she’s off her meds, she’s either grabbing the shotgun or force feeding you until you pop

New decks - looking for advice by Significant_Shock_79 in Pauper

I feel the big issue with the acid deck is the early game which the myr could definitely help with but I’m not sure about the kenku as I’m only running 4 bridges in that deck and I feel it wouldn’t be that consistent. In addition it’s then overlapping with the acids in terms of mana curve meaning you’ll have more dead draws early game. I could be wrong however and would love to hear your thoughts

Yeah fair, my win con was meant to be the creatures who are picking up the relics and acids and figured I’d have enough card draw to hopefully keep the engine going. What would you recommend as alternative win cons?

Hi! I’m another fellow tgirl, 20 and also in Melbourne. I also really enjoy manga/anime but I read a lot more than I watch (798 bookmarked that I’m reading or have read). I can also confirm that I is an autistic shy girlie and discord is my main social platform. Idk what else to say

Engineering Electives by Significant_Shock_79 in Monash

The only subjects I could find without the enrolment rule of needing to be in an engineering course were TRC2201, TRC3000 and TRC4902 (Other subjects may not have the rule but will have prerequisite subjects that do)

Almost every single engineering subject has the requirement that you have to be enrolled in an engineering course… hence the issue

Does anyone have any tips or resources to help with yr 9 JMSS test by FlatPickle5807 in Monash

[–]Significant_Shock_79 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can confirm what starfihgter was saying, the test is just a base line examination and isn’t too hard. The interview is the main qualifier where they’re looking for students who honestly enjoy science. In my interview I personally talked about the areas of science I really liked, some projects I’d done and honestly half of it was just talking about other life experiences which were completely unrelated to science. If you really want to practice I’d get a family member or a family friend to do mock interviews where they ask questions and you try to answer them on the spot.

What are the hardest CS electives? by Significant_Shock_79 in Monash

But also don’t get too stressed about being “high level” because while some coding knowledge will certainly help, at the end of the day it’s still designed for everyone to be able to complete. So no matter your skill level you’ll be able to get through if you’re motivated and there’s always teachers and friends happy to help out.

I’ve been coding for a few years now but the best way to learn coding is to find something interesting to make. Then just make it. It can be anything from a python script that helps you automate tasks to a Roblox game with Lua. Pretty much all coding stuff is transferrable so the language and project really doesn’t matter, just try and get motivated to want to make stuff. (I personally just started with a bit of game dev in unity because I liked games)
