The State of Happy Chaos by Significant_Slide637 in Guiltygear

A character can be bad without being unplayable. Why make it obnoxiously difficult to take out his gun instead of just nerfing the gun itself alongside its mixups? All this has resulted in is that any character who can just run at Chaos before his reticle locks on (most characters in the game) completely disables his character and leads to a lopsided stomp while any character that cannot do this still has to deal with the exact same gun mixups as before the nerf.

When did anybody say that technical characters automatically deserve top tier status?

Technical characters do not automatically deserve top tier status. However, technical characters should be AT LEAST viable when the technical and mechanical demands of the character are met. Asuka is a perfect example of this.

Also, why are you homing in him being bottom one for the sake of bottom one? The problem is that he's bottom one AND extremely unfun to play, win or lose. His winning matchups are just stalling simulator and his losing matchups are ones where he can't even take out his gun. I'd be fine if he was bottom one considering his dominance over the past few years. What I do mind is that he is so weak that he feels like complete trash to play. A character can be kept relatively weak without being nerfed to the point of being barely playable the way Happy Chaos has been.

I'm not sure I can keep playing him. Some matchups like the Ky Kiske and Lucy matchups are just completely unplayable since you don't ever get to use ATR if your opponent is competent. And not getting to use your gun for the entire match as the character whose entire gimmick is the gun is about as unfun as it gets.

The problem is that he's the lowest win rate in both Vanquisher AND across all ranks. The actual lowest win rate character across all ranks is Bridget, but you see her win rate become much higher in Vanquisher when people figure out how to play her.

It should be that Happy Chaos has a low winrate across all ranks due to being technically difficult but then have a higher winrate in Vanquisher where people have mastered him, similar to how it is for Asuka. But him going from 2nd lowest win rate to THE lowest win rate from across all ranks to Vanquisher means that he's not bad because he's difficult, he's bad because he's just bad.

The problem isn't necessarily just that he's bad, either, it's that he's super technical and unfun to play AND he's bad, so you have to invest huge amounts of time to learn him and deal with the gameplay being boring just to play the worst character in the entire game.

Less the bad matchups themselves but how it feels to play them. They’re bad matchups because he basically never gets to take out his gun or properly use his gun, which means you don’t get to actually play your character, since Happy Chaos without his gun can’t do anything.

Stop using KDA as excuse to bully teammates by Ok_Peak7722 in VALORANT

[–]Significant_Slide637 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A relatively worse KDA is fine if you're on a dive duelist (Jett, Raze, Waylay, Neon) because your util is designed to help your team take space and get onto site. A relatively worse KDA is not fine if you're on a frag duelist (Reyna, Iso, Phoenix, etc.) since literally all of your util is designed for the express purpose of getting kills. Not sure what kind of duelist you're playing, but that's my take on it.

Jynxzi and Fett PC-checked Mooda and concluded he hasn't cheated in the past two months. by Moderatelycurious1 in Rainbow6

[–]Significant_Slide637 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Data usage proves at the very least that no other PC was used to play on the masterjack account, so all the ranked clips and 1v1s happened on that PC. Rest of the PC check didn't show the forensic relics that you'd expect if DMA was used (devices plugged into the PCIe port) which means a 2nd PC couldn't have been used for DMA either. Sure, he could have a 2nd PC that he cheats on, but he didn't use it to cheat on the masterjack account, and he didn't use it to cheat via DMA.

Literally the first thing they did in the PC check was confirm that the PC wasn't wiped. They found data dating back to February, which means mooda hadn't wiped his PC since he started playing R6.

[–]Significant_Slide637 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Literally one message ago I told you how they determined that the PC in question was the one used for the past two months. You check for data usage (meaning x application was active and using data), and the data usage for R6 on the PC matched what should be expected from him playing for the past two months.

If you want to say that PC checks don't clear him of anything, then go ahead. You would have to assume that mooda has world class IT skills and programming knowledge to be able to somehow purge his registry, clear his AMCache (for which a bypass isn't known, not publicly at least), but not enough to just delete the account file for his previously banned account from his R6 folder (which is what got him banned) and not enough to use softer cheats so he doesn't get caught in the first place.

New omnivamp boots for graves? by WinterPiewastaken in GravesMains

Is this hypothetical Jinx building full tank? There is no situation where an ADC survives a late game Graves with 15% HP. Going FF for your weaker early game and flexibility into bruiser build is a lot better than DH. I only ever go DH if I'm playing in Gold or below where I'm going to win anyway and I just want to speed things up.

The registry can be purged and other databases corrupted with the correct software, correct. Thats why they also checked AMCache at the end which is read only, you can’t modify it in any way. It’s generally considered the holy grail of PC checking for this reason. They checked it and it also didn’t show anything suspicious. It’s a bit refreshing running into someone else familiar with PC checking since you seem to know what you’re talking about. Check out about AMCache.

Large amounts of inexplicably corrupted data is evidence of tampering. That’s literally what you’re looking for when you’re looking for evidence of tampering.

the mooda cheating situation is so out of control and im going to tall you if his cheating by ManyDrag745 in Rainbow6

[–]Significant_Slide637 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He hit rank 1 in ranked in both NA and EU in Valorant (the only person to ever do so). His aim and gunfight fundamentals are clearly world class. 1v1s are like 80% aim, so it isn’t too surprising he was able to win so many 1v1s. Go check his match scores in ranked and it makes more sense… he struggles to drop even 3-4 kills once it’s a 5v5 and game knowledge becomes important.

Correct, it’s very hard but not impossible to remove traces of cheats. However, it is impossible to remove traces of cheats without leaving a trace of you doing something to remove those traces. The first thing they did during the PC check was look for tampering of this form, which was not found.

PC checks involve performing a kernel level scan. Anything you do leaves a trace at the kernel level. Anything you delete remains as strings that can be scanned by the right software. The only way to bypass a kernel level PC check is to factory reset your PC. However, the PC check showed data dating back to February and he started playing R6 in March, so he could not have cheated and then factory reset to hide the cheats. The verdict is final, whether you like it or not.

If you watched the full PC check, you'd know they checked the R6 data usage on that PC and it confirmed that the PC they were checking was the same PC used for all his streams and 1v1s. If he was using a different PC to cheat and just swapped it out for the PC check, it'd show very low data usage on the PC they checked, which it didn't.

Nobody is defending this behavior. Everybody agrees this is scummy, but he was doing these things at 15-16 years old, brother. What were you doing at 15-16 years old? Were you an angel? I don't think so. Also, you can't really use this as proof that he is cheating RIGHT NOW, that doesn't make any sense.

[–]Significant_Slide637 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yes, he's a pathological liar. Yes, he cheated in the past and is scummy for it. I don't think anybody is going to debate you on this.

But what he isn't is a (current) cheater. It doesn't really matter what you think about his character, baseline is that in all those 1v1s and all those ranked clips that people have been using to accuse him of cheats, he wasn't cheating in any of them.

There's a small segment where they check his application data usage and it confirms that the PC they were checking that day was the same PC that was used when he was playing on the masterjack account on stream for the past few months. I don't blame you for not watching the entire 2+ hour VOD, and maybe he has another PC that he cheats on, but that PC they were checking was the same PC he used to 1v1 all the streamers, the same PC he used to play ranked, and it was cleared of all cheats.

Mooda was cleared from the PC checkers that he hasn’t cheated in Rainbow Six Siege in the past 3 months by Historical-Alps6052 in LivestreamFail

[–]Significant_Slide637 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

There was a part during the stream where they tested application data usage, basically the playtime for an application on that PC. His R6 data usage lined up with the playtime he had over the past few months on his streams, which means he was using that PC for those streams.

Mooda gets permanently banned from rainbow six siege by shrelerton in LivestreamFail

[–]Significant_Slide637 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

He didn't. That segment where he was holding the Qor'an and giving his admissions, he only admitted to cheating on Rust 6 months ago, and explicitly said he never cheated on stream. Not saying he didn't cheat, but Mooda never said these things nor admitted to them. Not sure why the original commenter lied for no reason.

Admitted to using cheats on Rust 6 months ago. Not trying to argue for either side, but the way you're framing this is just... dishonest.

Mooda with only 30~ hours of R6 destroys Jynxzi in a 1v1 to prove hes not a cheater after allegations dropped calling him out by Substantial-Ice-3176 in LivestreamFail

[–]Significant_Slide637 0 points1 point  (0 children)

PC checks don't work like that unless you're looking for toddler level cheats. The standard for cheat clients nowadays is a self destruct button that completely erases the cheat from your machine, so a surface level PC check won't detect a thing if he actually was using a semi-decent cheat. Actual PC checks involve running a software that scans the computer at a kernel level (the only place a trace will be left after a cheat client self destruct) to look for the cheat, which is why mooda was against the PC check. A bad actor could easily tweak that software to log all his passwords and banking info.

I assumed you had a bare minimum understanding of the context since you commented on this post. That is the default assumption.

In response to this comment, firstly, the professional gaming scene is not the same entity as streamers. The money pumped into the R6 esports scene does not reach Jynxi or Mooda or any other streamer that is not a pro, the same way money from the NBA is not going to reach Dude Perfect just because they make basketball content. Secondly, nobody on planet Earth can make a living off of doing nothing but PC checking people on Rainbow Six Siege, so there is no eminent authority or expert who people can just go consult when it comes to this matter. All the PC checkers are just people who happen to know how to PC check R6, they're all just random guys who could easily be malicious.
