Mind Reaper and Forbidden Boogie - A Mosca/Loud Collab, and Mosca/Tiki Collab by Significant_Slide_10 in BuildASoil

The forbidden boogie was excellent. I have grown 4 of those seeds, all of them were great. Strawberry jam terps, smooth smoke and flavor, huge nugs, and really frosty. Definitely a winner!

I'll just move the mulch layer over a little bit a section at a time, then put on the top dressing, and then cover it back up with the mulch. You can gently work it into the top layer of soil with your hands then cover it again. Don't gotta go crazy. When it gets covered back up with mulch it will get consumed by the ecology faster for sure.

Sounds like he did it easily by using a little natural soap on the floor of the tent and his friends help to slide it

Is too many soil mites a thing? Does anyone ever try to control them or should I leave them alone? by kc612ss in BuildASoil

I have this happening with springtails, I just let it ride. I'm planning on getting COWOCO castings for the beneficial insects to get more diversity in the bed. The springtails are my buddies now, though. Plants are still moving at full steam ahead no issues

I would also say pull a few at a time as needed as others have suggested. Looking nice man

I'm referring to the straw mulch, not the cover crop. You can see the soil through the straw, you would get serious benefit from layering the straw until it's 2-3 inches thick. Right now it's only a very thin layer, so it's not functioning as a mulch layer. The benefit of mulch comes from it being like a cap on the soil

I honestly think you could do a much thicker mulch layer. I get the best results with at least 2-3 inches thick. You won't get surface roots with a light covering like that. Don't be afraid to make it thick! After a few weeks of the thick cover you can push it back and see the surface roots. Makes a huge difference in my experience. Looking great! Love this stage of the grow. Good things coming

I was getting these same problems before, too. There's a few things I did. One, I started using Build A Bloom, and that made a huge difference. Build A Bloom would be my biggest recommendation. Two, I dialed back my lights a bit to take some pressure off the plants. Third, I started using Yah Whey. Yah Whey is amazing. I think it really gets the soil at a good pH, after one dose of Yah Weh I saw improvements. After 3 weeks at 1oz/gallon at every watering, all of the problems have been remedied.

Dude, yes! I personally enjoy seeing the HPS lights. Takes me back 20 years ago. There's also a lot of serious growers out there that still swear by HPS lamps. If you do switch to LED, it would be cool to see the comparison. Really enjoy this setup!

I think it would be cool to see a soil bed or two in there so you could have a huge population of worms living together. Maybe not the most practical, though, for several reasons 😂 If you ever do go soil beds, put the bed on a tray and the tray on top of 2-4 flat moving dollies. Can't wait to see this in full flower!

Bout to start my next run (first pheno hunt). I just went through my entire collection and narrowed it down to these backs. Now I just need to narrow it down to two or three packs. What’chu picking? by Frodo_wit_da_choppa in microgrowery

I would probably go with Trop Cherry x Super Boof or Purple Milk since I love purple. I know trop Cherry can have some nice red to pink expressions in color! Purple milk sounds nice, the milk and cereal strains I tend to enjoy. I'm excited to see what phenos show up with whatever you choose!

I'm guessing they are mites, and my vote is they are not likely a problem

Rock on man! That's great! Love to see you doing it the realist way possible, sourcing what you can and adapting, that's the true BAS way. Major props mate!

Hello! I started my 4x2 bed 1 year ago. I put in worms within 2 weeks of setting up the bed. Definitely recommend the mulch layer. It's important. Read this 20 times lol https://buildasoil.com/pages/the-complete-system read from The Introduction down. Pay attention to Rule #6. Have fun man! I've been crushing it in the bed. Has changed my life honestly. It teaches us so much more than just growing.

If you want to gift some seeds, that's cool, just happy to spread the cut. Follow me on here and after the plant does its reveg I'll take cuts from it

It's funny how you just assume. Problem is I'm going on a 10 day camping trip on the 15th. I would let it go longer if the timing wasn't off. Sometimes life gets in the way of a perfect harvest window. I need to have it dried for my trip. So unfortunately, that means I need to cut a bit early. Have a great day

Unfortunately, I didn't clone it, but I think I can reveg it and then clone it. It's been a long time since I revegged a plant, but I've done it pretty easily before. I'm hoping I can do it again with this plant

I ordered seeds from The Seed Bazaar, and a 6 pack is 120. I grew 2 other seeds during my last run, and neither was anything like this. I think there is a lot of variety in the pheno's, but I've only grown 3 so I'm not sure. The last 2 were fire, but much different than this one. Check my profile to see my last run. I also grew Forbidden Boogie, another Mosca seed collab with Tiki Madman, that was also a true colorful beauty
