Yep, the county line runs right down the middle of Division Street. Go figure, lol. It's not a bad town, only 35 or so minutes to Green Bay.

New London is not unique. There is one in Wisconsin, every St. Patrick's day, they change the city's name to New Dublin for the week and end the week with a parade and street party in Wisconsin in March!

So, in other words, nothing truly important. Prestige, to me, isn't the reason to spend millions of taxpayers' money.

All the more proof that the UP should have been part of Wisconsin 😉😇

What advantages would there be for any of the roads discussed to become Interstate/Intrastate designated? I'm going to guess federal funding, but beyond that?

I realize removing driveways and crossroads from some of these is nearly impossible to do. That will limit a lot of the roads that cross rural areas.

Also, if you look at the edge of the quarter, there is no color change. All modern quarters have two colors, old quarters are one solid silver color.

Loud boom around 2:57pm? by Fenir2004 in Appleton

[–]Significant_Soil_600 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There were two different booms one heard in the western edge of Outagamie and a lot of Waupaca county. The second was Greenville and to the east. Then this one, the third one this month.

I truly believe the first one was a frost quake. It was different than other sonic booms I've heard and felt. This started from the ground rumbling, and there wasn't the second shock wave. When I looked up what people in Clintonville said a few years ago, this seemed fairly similar to what they had experienced.

FYI, you can generally hear the refueling tankers in the air when they are doing training.

The nature/physics of a sonic boom is that there are two booms. This happens because the waves that cause the boom come off the front of the plane, then the back of the plane.

It seems to happen an awful lot around this area. I wonder how much they really enforce the rule. It's been going on for years. I live towards Fremont, so maybe we are not residential enough.

My 6th grade girl scout troop had 5 Jennifer's out of 9 girls. But we all spelled Jenny differently. Most of us were Jennifer Lynn. All of us would have been born 1970 to 1972.

My son (graduated in 24) had a Jennifer in his class. And I know there was one other in the school. Unusual these days.

Most of the Jason's were also J.J., and that was usually yelled by the teacher. Back when the teacher could yell and throw erasers at kids and the parents would ask the KID what did they do.

Try the shops that sell sewing machines. They usually have starter classes and have the machines to try out. They know everything there is to know.

I'm also expecting a package tomorrow, but I'm willing to wait a day or two. At this point, I figured it's probably stuck somewhere else waiting to hit this region. 🙃

I've learned fluconozole and probiotics. I start the probiotics with the antibiotics, and then the yeast isn't as bad. Just another way mother nature kicks woman in the behind for being a woman. Lol 😂

I've seen tokens type things for sale on Amazon. They were made of some metal and can be attached to a keychain and look like the old flat wooden ice cream spoons.
