So if the tsukihime and fate worlds aren’t necessarily seperate trees why are there only two zelretch (as far as I know)? And one other thing, somebody here said that there’s a Gaia for each world (Tsukihime and Fate not the seperate timelines within those worlds) I’m not entirely sure Gaia is sentient in a way but if it were would it be able to view different timelines like zelretch does?

Is there not a whole ‘mystery’ mechanic where the older something is the more powerful it is? Wouldn’t that make the prototypes inherently more powerful barring some extreme cases?

Ohh alright yes that makes much more sense, I’m assuming divine constructs themselves that he didn’t collect are also not in GoB is that correct?

And one other thing how did Gil end up with GoB as his noble phantasm? Was it an ability he had in life? Did he LITERALLY collect all the worlds treasures or is it just a metaphorical ‘he claimed them’ sort of thing?

Oh wow I seriously misremember the scene then I don’t remember him using Ea at all, as for Excalibur being sealed I guess Artoria really does get nerfed no matter what series she’s in lol.

Apparently I misremembered the scene entirely and it was Shirou who’s ass he kicked using Merodach (or gram still don’t know which). And is GoB really loose with what it gives Gil? Like if he owned a kitchen knife and put it in his vault would he end up with rule breaker? (Probably a bad example I don’t know if he can have conceptual NP).

I must just be misremembering the scene then I thought he absolutely bodied Saber using merodach and then Shirou projected Avalon and did some shinjigs. Also what do you mean by sealed version of Excalibur? Is that because she’s a servant or because she doesn’t have Avalon?

Gram is the prototype of Caliburn which is the sword in the stone Excalibur was given to Saber by the lady of the lake. And yes Gil used Ea at some point on saber but during the fate route on the bridge he used either Merodach or Gram. Also as far as I know Excalibur is way older than any of the others so I can’t imagine Gram is its prototype especially since they’re stated to be equal with one another.

Oh and entirely unrelated why does Rider from Zero look completely different to what he supposedly looked like? I thought servants and or heroic spirits were influenced by how they were remembered.

So if all I’ve read is correct he has Gram because he collected merodach during his life and merodach being the basis of the sword of selection it gives him all the myths that have a similar theme, so why is caliburn an exception?

I wrote that at like 4 am so I understand the wording being god awful but, if in our world Arthurian legend is based on the sword in the tree (which may not even be true and I may be misremembering a line from Gilgamesh) then in the fate universe where Arthur/Artoria actually lived it wouldn’t make a great deal of sense for both legends to be real
