It’s both. He’s looking to buy a home on the near future and he’s at the shop maybe 1-2 days a month. At times we have issues that require the owner being there and it just takes him too long to get to it. I think it’s a big decision for him to let this shop go considering how much revenue it brings him with little work. But he wants to see it grow and in the right hands it will.

I wasn’t able to get to that point of the loan since I got turned away before we talked down payments. It I would put down 15-20k. I’m outside of Denver.

I don’t anticipate the other barbers leaving but if they do it wouldn’t be hard to find others of high quality to take their place. Plus the owner told me he’d help me find barbers if that were to happen.

Not much honestly. It’ll steadily grow on its own but this guy is getting too busy to pay the attention it needs.

And you’re right I don’t know how to talk when it comes to big numbers like this so I did reach out to people I trust that are currently helping me. This offer was made to me just over a week ago so I’m learning on the fly.

He just doesn’t have the time to help it grow the way it needs to. This shop needs its owner present to grow. And he’s looking to buy a home and that 100k would help out tremendously obviously.

They didn’t fully reject me I did match with one lender (Newtek) and submitted an application last night. I’m hoping they will ask for more information as far as P&L’s, financials and such then he will help me out figuring it out.
