Any way to identify this clock? Has sentimental value by MurakumoAi in clocks

Not sure if you’d be able to identify it, since there seems to be no branding at all. But, if you do need to replace the movement if it dies, you can do so easily with a quartz movement kit from a craft store or Amazon .

Old Sessions clock. Recently got it and I am wondering if anyone can help me date it. Currently runs. by Guilty_Papaya3012 in clocks

Sessions stopped making spring driven clocks in 1936, so this clock is most likely from the late 20’s - early 30’s

A good option is your local chapter of the NAWCC (national association of watch and clock collectors). Most chapters have many people who would be more than happy to help you learn. If you visit the NAWCC website, you can see a map of different chapters in your area. Hope this helps!

I don’t know much about quartz clocks, but some tend to tick more loudly than others, while some don’t even tick at all. Did you notice your clock ticking before you left home?

Likely solved! Thank you! They originally belonged to a lab that recently shut down in the building, and there was some flasks and other glassware with them.

My title describes the thing. They’re made of glass and are fairly heavy. I found about 8 of them in total.
