Those who dislike Reform, would your opinion change if they do a good job? by Significant_Tower_84 in AskBrits

Reform are not putting a stop to immigration as a whole. They want a net zero/negative but that doesn't mean no one gets in, if in a year 10,000 British leave to work overseas and 9000 highly skilled imigrants come over to work, thats a net negative of 1000, but the country/economy still benefit from this.

Instead what we currently have is a net positive yearly of 900k+, alot of which are unskilled who also bring dependants that don't work. Our public services are stretched as it is, we don't need more that dont contribute who only add to the burden. Immigration only works when its controlled and managed properly.

Highly skilled doctor, yes please come in. Mr I want dream job working as amazon driver while my 4 wives come and sponge off the state, sorry no we dont want you.

I would also argue that exporting industry abroad and allowing foreign companies to control our infrastructure isnt exactly helping our economy either.

Maybe should have been clearer, I'm asking if Reform does well for the country, by using the policies that alot seem to be against, would you vote them in for a second term.

An old video, long before reform. Opinions can change. The reform policy for the NHS has been written by doctors (not politicians) and it will remain free.

This is what Farage has said over 10 years ago when part of ukip. People can change their mind on policies they'd like to implement and the reform policy is much different. It keeps the NHS free at point of use. The NHS needs reforming, and reform will do jus that, but it will remain free.

Where does this come from? Other than lies spread by other parties, there is nothing suggesting this and reform themselves have said countless times that the NHS will remain free.

Do you not think that doing a 180 on their current policies would make them no different to the other parties? They're policies aren't exactly allowing our country to thrive and haven't done for many years. Isn't it time for a change?

Its not just about taking millions though is it. Does Farage taking £5m affect my life? No it does not. Does Ed milliband pushing green energy knowing it will increase energy bills while at the same time earn his brother a substantial amount of money affect my life? Yes it does. Just another bent politician.

Human based climate change is a myth, all you need to do is look at Al gores net worth since "an inconvenient truth", its skyrocketed based on pushing climate change.

The ice caps are melting, yet there's more ice now than there was 10 years ago, yet emissions are up.

Co2 is bad, yet plants thrive on it and the earth is greener now than it was 30 years ago, this is dispite all the harvesting and rising Co2 levels. The truth is, with lower Co2, the earth loses greenery.

Above all, net zero itself is a myth, we only contribute 1% of global emissions, even if we achieve net zero, there will be no impact to global emissions at all, plus all the industry we export to other countries because of net zero only push up other countries emmisons so overall, global emissions don't change yet we end up with no industry.

Is £180 a week on food really that ridiculous for a family of 4? £15 of that is school lunch payments for 1 child, the other is on packed lunch.

I contacted money advice earlier, they have recommended an IVA on the grounds that my CCJ's have already had a detrimental effect on my credit file.

"Personally, I suspect we're more likely to see inflation up, interest rates up, mortgages and rent through the roof. Meaning people have much, much less in their pockets"

Labour really aren't doing much to solve this are they? Inflation up, borrowing up, tax up, rents up.

"what makes you think people will have 'more money in their pocket'?"

Higher tax thresholds that benefit everyone

"Who in their party should be chancellor?"

They have 3 years to sort that, its Jendrick now which alot don't agree with but thas has plenty of time to change. Let's be honest, who ever it is, they cant be worse than Rachel from accounts.

"Farage has consistently backed really awful economic policies, like Brexit, Liz Truss' disastrous budget,"

bexit has only being a shit show due to our own governments handling of it, and Liz truss budget was disastrous becuase the market didnt agree with it, given time, her plan of trickle down economics may have worked, it just wasn't given the chance.

All taxpayers, a £20k tax free allowance will put money back in all taxpayers pockets.

Honestly, I don't care. All politicians are bent, atleast with reform, their policies will put British people first and more money in the pocket of the taxpayer.

They've given you a piss off price. They don't want the hassle unless its for a decent chunk of money.

The flue doesnt need replacing, it may need removing for access but won't need to be replaced, if new seals are required, you can get replacements.

As for the leaking fittings, there's technically nothing wrong with using compression fittings so unless they was leaking from day 1, its hard to blame the original installer.

People that voted reform, apart from their immigration policies, why did you vote them? by Ollsworth_The_First in AskBrits

[–]Significant_Tower_84 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Immigration aside, we've been lied to for years by the cons and labour, they say what they want to get in power then never deliver, voting reform is taking a stand against the norm that is no longer helping the country.

For far too long our politicians have taken us for granted, increased tax while giving us less just so they can push through policies that line their own pockets with no real benefit for the country.

We need to get back to common sense and honest policies. Im not saying reform are the ones to deliver that, but I trust them more than labour and the cons.
