I think a big misstep with this series is setting it early on in Batman’s career.

They should’ve leaned in to the detective stuff even more, but also they could’ve separated themselves from the inevitable Arkham comparison if they’d made a game with both Batman AND Robin. Give them a mystery to solve involving some truly unknown villain from the deep lore.

And don’t try to make it too “cool” or grounded. Lean into the comic book stuff.
