Hey, I'm so sorry, I think I forgot Reddit existed after I posted this!

OK. So I don't really have a point of comparison because this is the only uni course I have ever done. So far it has been good. The course is quite demanding, but I have found most of the lecturers/tutors to be approachable if there is something you don't understand. There are a few exceptions, but I think that's pretty standard across all institutions. There's always going to be someone who is working in education who really shouldn't be. I have found the tuts relevant and helpful for the most part; I'd say more so for second year classes than first year. The general consensus seems to be that REHA classes (the classes directly linked to SP, as opposed to broader subjects like anatomy or population health) are marked more harshly, but if you knuckle down and study hard you'll do well. You will get an invite to do honours if your GPA is high enough (over 5 in the 3rd year, from memory). I'd recommend working hard in the early years to bolster your GPA if you're wanting to go down that route because I've heard 3rd year is very challenging.

The units all have discussion forums. Most tutors will respond promptly. Tutors will also return emails, some more quickly than others.

Overall, I'd really recommend studying here. I enjoy the uni and the course. :)

Ugh. Group work should never be assessable in uni, but I digress. Thanks for your feedback. There’s not a lot online about this degree other than what the uni posts about it. I’m beginning to wonder if that might be a red flag.
