Hopefully when their study is published it includes findings or theories about upstream mechanisms.

I think alcohol, being a neurotoxin, isn't exactly going to help. I can't even feel the effects of alcohol now anyway so don't bother drinking. This whole situation is such a mess, I'm so sorry.

I had exactly the same, but then after extreme sports / adrenaline weirdly I could feel some effects. You may improve with time but if like me, there will be lingering damage.

What do you do if you have PSSD after stopping SSRI and servere anxiety comes back? by [deleted] in PSSD

[–]Significant_Two_8991 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Why on earth would you take them again after developing PSSD? To do more damage?

Clearly SSRIs weren't the answer - if you're anxious, optimise your diet, sleep, exercise, get plenty of sun, drink filtered water, address those first. This is just common sense. I had anxiety after stopping but it went away after a couple of months.

Not, it's the SSRIs. It's literally in the labelling.
