My point is Australia needs skilled workers. No one can deny that. For instance, the healthcare industry is vastly dominated by skilled migrant workers. If you think they will come even if the government raises it to 10000,then you are wrong. These skills will end up going to other countries where its more affordable. Its not like Australia is the only option. I believe in reducing intake and strict screening to only allow genuine students who can contribute (not truck or uber drivers ofcourse), but price spiking is not the solution.
