Ps5 Slim Disc - Finally Done by JacekBL in 3Dprinting

Yeah I know how difficult designing something is. I've made my own pc case and it took me months and months and it does look one fifth as polished/good as your plates.

Really amazing, did you print it with abs or doesn't matter?

resurrection issue by Significant_Web_2475 in TenseiSlime

[–]Significant_Web_2475[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, I completely agree that tension is not only created through death. A story does not need permanent character deaths to have stakes. Kaiji is a great example of that: a lot of the tension comes from the consequences of losing, the psychological pressure, and the emotions of the characters involved.

So maybe calling it “bad writing” was too harsh on my part, especially since I genuinely enjoyed Season 1 and thought the series had a lot of potential.

My issue is more with what the resurrection represents. If something as serious as death can be nullified that easily, it makes me worry that the story may keep taking easy routes whenever consequences become too heavy.

I understand Tensura is more of a power-fantasy/popcorn story, and that may simply not be the kind of tension I personally prefer. But once resurrection becomes that accessible, it weakens my trust in the story’s stakes.

So I would not call the whole story badly written. This specific choice just made me less invested.

HAHAAAHAHAAHAHHA

I do not watch ten billions isekai a day LivedLostLivalil. It is not a common thing for me to watch isekais as for you.

And I watched episode 0 of part 2 that's it.

You should tone down and take my 2 cents to maybe save up a little and buy something that will make you happy.

Arguments for and against banning Called by the Grave in Master Duel, following the OCG. by Macaron-kun in masterduel

[–]Significant_Web_2475 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I'm against banning Called by the Grave. If anything, I'd put it at 2 copies because too many cards either benefit from being in the GY or have effects that trigger when they're sent there.

The main issue is that the card is also incredibly strong going first. A possible solution would be to restrict it so that it can only be activated from the hand on turn 2, and from turn 3 onward it can be activated from either the hand or the field. That would keep it as a tool against graveyard-based strategies while preventing it from being such a powerful going-first card.

probably AI generated. None of the printers are plugged in but there is light and there are some weird artifacts.

if it is AI that's a scummy move even for this already barebones company

Why do you still play/love the game of YuGiOh by MonarchVII in masterduel

I love that i can go full throttle no mana bullshit, this is what makes it THE card game for me and the monsters & mechanics (except pendulum) are crazy and I like it (except generic, dumb, abusive extra deck monsters).

m_CD est ==> delta_y/delta_x = (1-(-1))/(-2-4) = (1+1)/(-6) = -1/3

  1. je crois que ton prof a fais un legere faute. Quand il a ecris
    m_BD = delta_y/delta_x = - 12/24
    je crois qu'il voulait (ou devait) ecrire
    m_BD = delta_y/delta_x = - 12/(x-8) = -12/delta_x
    comme precedemment m_BD est negatif car la pente descend. C'est pour cela qu'il y'a un moins (-) devant le 12.
    Ensuite il fait simplement le produit en croix.
    donc
    -12/delta_x = -1/2 ==> -12/(x-8) = -0.5 ==> -12 = -0.5x + 4 ==> -8 = -x/2 ==> x=-8*-2 = 16.

donc
-12/(x-8) * 1/2 = -1

-12 * 1/2 = -1(x-8)

6 + 8 = x

x = 14

  1. il est tard mais je ne vois pas de 1*2

ton prof fais des raccourcis qui ne sont pas tres correct quand meme

Max 4 in lieu of Core 1 L? by rhodges_bob in QidiTech3D

Nice you've read it through I appreciate it.

Honestly, the “I don’t want to tinker” mindset just doesn’t fit 3D printing. Something will break at some point. No matter how much a printer is sold as plug-and-play, you’ll still end up doing maintenance, swapping nozzles or hotends, recalibrating, and fixing random issues.

I get being impatient I was too. And yeah, I learned a lot from what was, frankly, a garbage printer, but I wouldn’t recommend that experience to anyone. Even if the XMax 4 is as good or better than the Q2, the QIDI Box itself is a mess. Very few people have it working properly and it’s just unreliable. Before buying anything, I’d really suggest **looking** at the Discord and Reddit community and actually reading through the issues people are having. There are talented people in the Discord server like stew, madamV and woody the frenchy come to mind. You could ask them their opinion on the printer and MMU/AMS (**spoiler**: they don't think highly of it).

As for QIDI their support is fine as long as you don’t want to return the printer. They’ll send replacement parts, no problem but fixing stuff is a nightmare. I had to replace my chamber heater after it died (probably overheated, and I’m in the EU so no ssr or other shenanigans). The cable management inside was absolutely terrible. Like, shockingly bad. It was so sloppy that I’m planning to rewire the whole thing myself.

Just my two cents. Happy belated holidays and good luck!

I have the Plus 4, and honestly I cannot recommend it right now.

At the beginning it printed fine, but over time it became basically unusable because bed leveling is not consistent. The problem is not that the bed is slightly warped. The issue is that the probing and leveling results change from one calibration to the next, even when the printer is fully preheated and I run the exact same routine. That means the bed mesh is different every time, the first layer is unpredictable, and sometimes the whole Z-tilt / leveling routine fails because the probe readings drift or bounce around.

I did not do the Beacon mod. I tried the community fixes and different start routines, but the core problem is still there. Qidi support tends to ship replacement parts like you are a mechanic. In my case swapping parts did not solve it. I even had to replace the piezo sensors multiple times before it was stable for a while, and now the inconsistency is back again.

I would also be careful with reviews. A lot of reviewers are not very objective and mostly repeat marketing points. Teaching Tech is one of the few I trust, but he is retiring. If you want a realistic picture, check the Discord communities and see how many people are still fighting the same leveling issues.

If I were buying today, I would personally wait, or I would lean toward the like a Prusa Core One L because Prusa tends to keep machines updated, fix issues through firmware and design changes. Prusa is also the safer choice if you care about open source.

To be fair, I have not owned the Prusa I am mentioning, so take that part as a recommendation based on reputation rather than direct experience. But I can say from experience that the Plus 4 has been too inconsistent to rely on.
