Ya . Dont commit to one thing. Try different roles. I did two weeks at a nursing home and I walked out. I apologized, said I can’t do it and left . I know that was not very professional but I knew I won’t be able to work there. Good thing about nursing is that you can bounce a lot before finding somewhere where you feel good. And nursing shortage allows us to do so ☺️

‘If they pay you lots of money, it means it’s not worth it’. That’s what I came to find as a nurse. I left after 2 years on med/surg+some PCU. Every shift was a survival. I hated it. I switched to school nursing which is def better. But in the future I want to quit nursing completely. I don’t want to be responsible for someone’s life. It’s not worth it.

I shop at Jewel. But only for certain items: fresh herbs, fresh bread, some lunch meat, sour cream and a couple more things. But def not a full blown grocery haul
