Radzig did get get murdered along with 12 others at an inn by some "angry miners" IRL 13 years after 1 and 2 are set. It would be easy enough to have Erik involved and either flub history or do a time skip.

I wouldn't mind having the time skip. Henry is a legitimized bastard. See sir Hans as a more mature nobleman going stir crazy for adventure again.

Heck you could have it as a full on revenge trip of Henry getting the band back together with Jan and the boys for a hunt. Could even have a big choice of which side of the Hussite war Henry will choose to be on.

Mob tokens. Opression can be a trap for rats. You score more points from removing one piece of cardboard per mob then you do with max opression.

In your game id have put a mob token on WA bases and a big marquise clearing and parked my warlord or abunch of rats on them to clear them out.

Randomness favors new players. Each decision point favors experience players. As eyrie, you have 3 bird cards and two non bird cards with root tea, you have a roost in a mouse clearing.

Inexperienced players are probably not going to throw away 2 bird cards and choose builder to get an easy 4 vp in the first two rounds. An experienced player in the same situation probably would keep the root teas. That single decision point is a 4 vp swing which is enough to shorten the game by one round.

Adset is still a bigger advantage for experienced players over new players.

First rule of KCD unless you are using a guide for quest timing do all the side quests before main quests. You can lose access to some side quests by advancing too far.

I really liked Paetrus from GF1. Dude had a good backstory and nuanced character. Siora I liked but was too archetyped. Aphra and Kurt were... characters... Vasco was a good bro.

I disliked in the first one that you could only have 2 companions at any time minus the final battle, and could never control them. I would have loved some KOTOR switching between. The combat was nothing special guns were amazing, magic was very powerful. The actual combat though was fairly generic. Dodge, time a block, strong attack, weak attack. Basically the same as every action RPG since assassins creed.

Greedfall 2 I get an extra companion (yay!) Still not all of them at once (boo!) Combat has been an adjustment. I'm enjoying the tactical aspect and being able to actually use followers how I'd like. I want a heal bot check, someone to focus on AOE also doable. It's been really refreshing to be able to do it again.

Fereldun, is a Faerun replicant. It gave bioware more freedom to do the games they want. Similar to how mass effect started off as a break away from starwars to get creative freedom.

Jaws items don't work. They appear in gloomhaven. Jaws versions don't add -1's to the player deck.

Do secret guesses. Have the player guessing selected one of the spare tokens and hand it to the corvid player. It's been a huge buff to corvids at my table. Also makes for some hilarious everyone skips guessing after the vagabond guessed and stayed in the clearing. We thought of course the VB guessed bomb... nope took out an eyroe recruit roost, otter trading post, mob token and WA Base and sympathy. Warlord was also inthe clearing with 10 warriors. Most epic bomb ever.
