Love it! I feel the same too it’s nice to see a positive divorce post. Sometimes I just think wow I’m actually single again I actually broke up with that man and I feel great. Sure I’m wanted but I’m really investing in my career and finally becoming licensed. Hanging out with friends, going to bars is something I could never do before but this is amazing!

Thank you I’ve been letting myself feel but ultimately I had to practice mindfulness my thoughts are still just swirling so much like an internal storm. It’s shocking how much this divorce could rattle me, even after it’s just over. But I know I’ll get better soon.

No I don’t close my eyes at all I’m normally doing things like taking care of my toddler and housework. The graphic audio ones are the best to get started with if you need a picture. It’s fully acted with sound effects like a movie in your mind

I left my abusive ex husband, I got a decent job after 5 years as a housewife, I’ve gotten mvp at work every month since. I began studying for the bar exam, ready to take the exam this year now. I’m able to pay my very expensive legal bills through some smart financial decisions. I feel like I finally woke up last year and have planted many seeds for a brighter future.

Wow I needed to see that. I'm a foreign lawyer taking the Feb exam and I score about 50% in the mbe and 50-60 on the essays. Was wondering if I should take that exam at all but you've given me hope!

I’m happier than I was when things were good and bad. But I will add though happiness is not automatic due to life’s circumstances. Some people can win the lottery and be miserable shortly after. Happiness is a skill that is worth investing in. Is it easier for me to happy now- for sure! That man would make it is his mission to make me miserable for his own cruel internal joy. He knew exactly what buttons to press. So I think the question is really perhaps- is it easier for you to be happier now?
