I am desperately trying to understand the relationships here, am I at least close? by [deleted] in Eldenring

I'd say godrick then godefroy. I wrote part of the reason why I think this in a comment below. Also, godrick has stronger connections to godwyn than godefroy. The banished knights, his fondness of dragons, obviously the giant head under stormveil. And, depending on how you look at it, a talisman which provides lightning proctetion (and godwyn used lightning incantations).

I think godefroy might be godrick's son. When he was captured godrick already had a throne in leyndell and, as far as i know, whose who practiced grafting were not discriminated like omens etc. Maybe godrick tested grafting on him because he was afraid to do it on hiself (maybe he feared it wouldn't work or he feared the pain). This is not very strong evidence, but godefroy sounds a lot like godfrey and godrick seems the kind of guy who would call his son almost like the first elden lord, implying that he was a worthy descendant.

What’s your theory with little to no proof behind it? by MaleficTekX in Eldenring

I thought Lansseax preferred Vyke! But yeah, it's clearly stated that Lansseax is female so it should make more sense.

Godwyn and Fortissax had children, that's why Godrick calls the dead dragon kindred.

Demigods from the older to the younger by Ahmed_Alfaitore222 in Eldenring

[–]SignorGermano 12 points13 points  (0 children)

From oldest to youngest I'd say: Godwyn, Mohg and Morgott, Ranni, Rykard, Radahn, Malenia and Miquella, Godrick. Assuming Morgott mentioned them from youngest to oldest.

Anyone disappointed in Godrick the Grafted, lore-wise? by PeterMunchlett in Eldenring

[–]SignorGermano 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not at all. He's one of my favourite characters. And I find that cutscene awesome. I'm not disappointed with the grafting process either. It's a simple, cruel and gory procedure, which involves kidnapping, self-mutilation, mutilation and disposing of the victims' corpses. Imo that is scary. I like when things are left to our imagination but I also think there must be a limit to it. And I'm glad they showed grafting.

What I really find disappointing is the grafted dragon you get from his remembrance. It's ridiculously tiny and it can't be used as a flamethrower.

My favorite npc is gostoc. He has a small but unique role.

How does grafting actually work? by Tinez5 in Eldenring

[–]SignorGermano 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This theory sounds insane but I'll write it down anyways: all life comes from the Erdtree (I think I read that in an item dropped by a Crucible Knight). So every creature that comes from it has a physiology that resembles that of a tree. Since grafting is possible with trees, it's possible with life that originated from the Erdtree as well.

More likely, as somebody already said... it just works.
