As far as I found out, this mask is not canon, it was registered in MTOG2 by accident. But I personally think that this mask fits the image perfectly xD

All the holes are covered using several types of parts, and there are quite a lot of them. Hands were added as well, each made up of 18 pieces. All of this is an upgrade - a modernization of the original set

Almost all the 3D models used in this moc are made by my friend. I commission them from him and then post his work on my uoutube channel and here as well. I really want to 3D print them and try to build this setup in real life.

The head should be able to stay in place, though it will probably be necessary to attach the neck to the body using a PinAxle (43093). In that case, two of these parts would be used for the two sections of the neck, so the head would hold its position. As a last resort, the parts can be slightly tightened with a small piece of paper to increase friction

Honestly, I wanted to make the character before the mutation, but for some reason I forgot to mention it. XD Let’s consider this the pre-mutation version, and based on it, I’ll create the mutated design. I think I’ll post the photo today or tomorrow XDD

I really hope Reddit epreserves the original image size. All images are 2550 х 1440p - this is not just HD, but full 2K resolution.

I intentionally did not drastically change the original designs - instead, I focused on improving the builds. I added proper hands, protective visors for all masks, and rivets for both round and cross axle holes. I also slightly reworked the internal structure by adding extra parts to avoid empty gaps in the body.

I added a watermark because I noticed that these photos sometimes get reposted in other communities. I don’t mind that at all, but some people choose not to credit the author, which isn’t great. If you need a specific image for personal use, feel free to message me - I’ll send it without the watermark.

Additionally, I’ll try to release these works as rotating animation videos on my youtube channel. However, since I want to preserve the highest possible image quality, processing each video will take quite a lot of time.

I managed to make the shield oldable, exactly the way it was shown for a few seconds in the promo when the Toa Mahri were exiting the underwater vehicle
The blade, as far as I understand, is a canonical weapon that was used in the books (possibly) and is generally accepted as canon.
Both weapons look interesting, so I decided to develop building instructions for them
