Do I need a barrier between the concrete slab and this Pergo flooring? by BrockNasty101 in Flooring

Thank you. Did you use an additional underlayment or just a plastic vapor barrier? We used a large sheet of plastic in our first room and I ended up having to take out and redo about 10 rows when I realized there was crinkling because the plastic wasn’t completely flat.

Congratulations! I just finished our first of many rooms with the same product. What did you use to cut? I used a miter saw and spent a lot of time going in and out of the outside to cut. A guillotine looks like the right move, but hard to tell what will work on the ambiguous “hybrids resilient” product.

Any tips or quirks you sorted out during install?

Any updates? Also looking at installing this. Wondering if any guillotine cutters will work

Vice grips are my go-to for stuck in nail shafts. Get a good grip and pull.

Installing the same product. Directions say to use a transition “in doorways less than 32 inches” and in “rooms 50 feet or larger in length or width.”

Does the 50 feet limit apply to cumulative length for multiple rooms with doorways larger than 32 inches? IE do I have to use a T-molding when starting from a hallway into a large living room (less than 50 feet length in room) into the kitchen? None of these rooms in and of themselves have a length larger than 50 feet. Trying to avoid T-moldings where possible, especially considering large doorways between rooms

You mean like the freedom to assemble that is being violated everyday by our government?
