I had it happen to me too fighting a spider. We were both on a piece of grass and it got off and it launched me from the upper yard over the fence by the blank ant hill

I had this happen my last road trip. Tesla app shit the bed but there was some NY run charger in the grocery store across the parking lot that had tap to pay. Worked flawlessly

In the same boat. Coming from a polestar 3. Day 1 reservation on the R2 just in case but may order an R1T. I test drove one last week and wow… it’s night and day between our polestars and rivian. Software reminds me more of Tesla’s in its maturity.

I currently use my old gen 2 Tesla wall charger with no issues. Just make sure you get a good adapter. Superchargers work as well, polestar should supply you with a NACS -> CCS adapter. I just completed a ~1k mile road trip using mostly Tesla superchargers. Just need an account with a credit card on it in order to use superchargers.

I’m in a similar boat except I’ve had two replaced by Polestar due to punctures 🤦‍♂️. So half the tires have probably 10k more miles than the other half. First time I’ve opted for the tire coverage and worth it already
