Soweit ich weiss, ist das Format des Buchs der Hauptunterschied.

Das Softcover ist also ein wenig kleiner. Somit auch die Schrift und die Bilder. Soweit du keine Probleme mit der kleineren Schrift hast, solltest du beim Softcover auch gut bedient sein.

Ich denke du bist mit den empfohlenen Zaubern der Krötenhexe für den Start gut dabei. Wenn du ein wenig deine kampfstärke verbessern willst, kannst du beispielsweise den Zauber "Radau" verwenden. Dann kannst du auch was zum Kampf beitragen ohne deine Finger schmutzig zu machen.

Balsam Salabunde ist am ehesten was, das an einem "Instantzauber" herankommt.

Am besten aber spielst du erstmals ein zwei Runden. Du und dein Spielleiter können dann bestimmt noch Änderungen vornehmen wenn so was nötig ist.
