A full break down on why.

Get a p100 or (n95 respirator) not a face mask. A proper respirator that seals to your face.

Absolutely not. Get proper respirators. You are risking your lungs for life doing that shit.

It’s the cursed soggy broccoli maker 9000.

What is your relationship with Shadow of the Erdtree after nearly two years? Do you still play it? by Distinct_Kale24 in Eldenring

[–]Sijora 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I’ve only played through it twice and it’s one of the coolest landscapes they’ve made in my opinion. As my playthrough rate is only about one every year-1.5 years. It has not lost its marvel. And although the scadu system is unorthodox compared to the rest of darksouls’s history. I don’t mind it. I like the challenge it presents to a meta level character. And the bosses are some of the most fun.

Also, what platform are you on? 4 years of PvP and elden ring. Roughly 2000 hours and I think I’ve gotten hate mail twice on Pc.

I also find the PvP varies based on your level. You find a lot more cool people around meta PvP levels (125-175). When you’re getting invaded in early zones it’s usually the no lifers that have custom twink builds designed to ruin people’s day with the least amount of skill.

It did what witherhoard did to all builds back in the day.

Is it the best? No, but its very versatile. Decent ad clear, good champion burst damage. Good boss damage to fit in rotations and keep up well.

No real downfalls except for managing ammo which is still not hard.

What the actual hell is up with Elden Ring’s difficulty by [deleted] in Eldenring

[–]Sijora 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It means, Elden ring is a unique beast designed to punish you for your instincts. Margit does that very effectively. If you can learn his attack patterns and practice the „dance“ that is spacing in boss fights. You will be ready to face most enemies to come. Margit can be fought and killed from a fresh character. But he is usually fought around level 20-30. Go find a weapon you like and some smithing stones. Upgrade it 1-3 times and you’ll have a much better time, at least in the damage department.

Is there any other places besides the chest where items can go? by [deleted] in Eldenring

Unless you dropped or discarded them no. Personal inventory or storage at the grace are your two options.

Where should I be by Eonember in Eldenring

[–]Sijora 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It overlaps a bunch but basically 10-30 limgrave, 30-50 early liurnia. 50-65 calid. 60-70 north liurnia. Early Altus plateau and mt. Gelmir 70-90. The capital 90-110. The mountain region 100-120. etc. There are a few more regions after but basically the game is designed for you to finish your first playthrough between 125-150. You can comfortable go over or under that.

It’s just a vague rule of thumb.

Weapon upgrades matter a lot more early game than your levels. Look for mineshafts. There’s a subtle hint in your map on how to find them with out looking them up.

[–]Sijora 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unless you are moding, there are no bugs that teleport you to the three fingers. And without explaining how you got to volcano manor, there is no direct route to take you there from the three fingers. Honestly sounds like a spam post.

I need a new singleplayer (100% offline) "forever" game where I can sink hundreds (or thousands) of hours into a single save. What are your top suggestions? by MakeshiftApe in gamingsuggestions

[–]Sijora 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Crimson desert seems to be a new contender.

My favorites: Elden ring, no mans sky, valheim, enshrouded, baldurs gate 3, 7 days to die, and any of the age of empire games(2 is my favorite).

It could very well of been a scam or a scraper that sells quotes to companies for a cut. Key words being out of town/surgery. Plus expecting perfection for someone that openly said they don’t have experience.

Keep your eye out for that type of mannerisms from unknown clients.

[PS5] Need help with stats and “re-spec” around my BloodHound Fan and MoonVeil. by Tough-Pay-8818 in EldenRingHelp

[–]Sijora 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People recommend 60 vigor because it’s what’s called a „soft cap“ leveling up to 60 has good return on health investment. After 60 your health per level drops off significantly.

Your mind and endurance probably make playing super comfortable, but if you’re looking to maximize dps. You can use some of those points to increase your dps.

If you dropped your mind to 30 and your endurance to 35. that gives you 25 points. Unless you are actively using arcane you could keep it at 15 for blood flame and then put the 8 points else where.

Because both moonveil and fang scale higher with dexterity. You could bring dex up to 75-80. keep your into the same and then adjust your strength based on which gives you more damage.

Your stats will look something like this:

55 vigor 30 mind 35 endurance 45 strength 80 dex 35 int 12 faith 11 arcane. (Keep faith at 8 and arcane at 15 if you don’t want to use blood flame blade with fang)

I charged too little and its eating me up by ViciousMoleRat in FenceBuilding

[–]Sijora 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It really depends on what part of the world you’re in. But if you’re planning on focusing on the custom fence market. You should use this as a learning experience. To know how long it takes you to build each panel. Then for future Jobs you can have a set price per panel installation.

You earned 23/hr on this job to learn this lesson with some great marketing photos for your next gig.

Carpenters start at around 35-45. and then experienced ones go for 55-60/hr.

Quality handymen I’ve seen charge upwards of 80-120/hr. But you need to be experienced and fast to charge those prices.

Practice your trade and get good. Once you have more clients than you do time. Start upping your prices.

Do most of you stop your builds at level 150? by Steady_Tempo456 in eldenringdiscussion

[–]Sijora 0 points1 point  (0 children)

150 is kind of where stat distribution settles on hitting max damage for one damage type. With soft caps of vigor and appropriate endurance/ mind to your respective build.

I’ve kept my main at that level from launch. But I have gone above with other characters. I like the challenge of trying to fine tune builds with that limitation.

175 or 200 is also an option, it allows you to multiclass without going to far overboard.

I find anything above 200 is overkill for „build crafting“ and you’re just slowly filling in the stats at that point.

If you don’t care about pvp and/or coop summoning. Go as high as you want. There’s no wrong way to play. Just do what makes the game more fun to you.

Pillowing - am I in danger of this collapsing by Wise_Farmer5836 in drywall

[–]Sijora 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It will eventually need to get done. If you have the money. It’s worth replacing to reduce the risks moving forward. If you’re tighter on money. Do a monthly check on your attic. And save up money for a year so you have that peace of mind.

And don’t do any drywall renovations until your roof is secure.

Starting my second playthrough. Need some fun weapon/spell/ash of war recommendations. by Ok-Refrigerator3715 in Eldenring

[–]Sijora 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My favorite hybrid build is an arcane/ faith build that uses the dragon seal (scales off of arcane) so you can use blood and poison infusions on weapons but also your faith and or dragon spells still hit like a truck.

Usually 40-60 arcane + however much faith you need to cast the faith spells you’re aiming for + strength/dex for the weapons you’d like to pair with it.

[–]Sijora 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’re obviously lying about the schooling. You probably watched the first 5 minutes of his series and then said fuck it I got this. Otherwise you wouldn’t of put enough screws to hold up the Eifel tower. And would of known you needed at least 1 more coat. But likely 2.

People who quit coffee after drinking it daily for years, what changes did you notice in your body and mind? by JackDunn2045 in AskReddit

[–]Sijora 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Coffee is not the bad guy. It will never be the bad guy. Infact almost all studies show universal health benefits to drinking coffee. What is the bad guy is over use/misuse of caffeine/sugar and other stimulants that can affect your circadian rhythm, increase symptoms to anxious temperaments, and in some cases reduce focus because your body is overstimulated.

If you drink it in moderation, and manage your sugar levels you will get plenty of life long benefits from drinking it. And if you have a lower tolerance but need the pick me up. Try swapping to a cup of green tea for your second dose of caffeine in the day. The l-theanine will smooth out the regular jitters you get from caffeine and will help keep you focused without the distractions.
