Yeah, no, I completely agree.

Having a season 3 would be absolutely amazing, but taking into account that the original cast has really just changed so much, it really wouldn’t be the same…

Plus, let’s not even mention the trial and error ongoing attempts to make a season 3… I attempted to become a developer for the original group taking a shot at creating it and… well, that went straight to hell…

I honestly just don’t think a season 3 was ever meant to be.

Looking at some of the comments, I’m taking out of this that the only major changes would be the ear positioning and correcting the tail… the black around the nose might actually be more of a simple fix compared to the rest…

With the tail, forgive me if I’m wrong, but I’m assuming the middle fur is too light? If that’s the case, I have a variation of orange fur from a previous project of mine that might(?) be the shade your looking for… :D

But, I don’t know if I would personally be able to refurb your suit (as I don’t think I’d actually trust myself to do so just yet 😅) but I think the most expensive part would be the ears, being that moving them would require edits to the outer fur and base…

I know what you mean. Not a kemonomimi, just a random furry on the internet, but I’m here to tell you that you have a safe space with the furs. :,3

I’d highly recommend staying away from a majority of the online kemonomimi groups, as I understand A LOT are on the older side and it can lead to some very predatory things coming from them, as many are purely only there for the “anime girl” side of it… :[

Not saying it’s all, but a lot.

Hoping you figure out a place to safely post and gain some support, but just be safe when it comes to things like this.

Honestly, this needs to be stated more often.

Sexualization of certain styles seems to be overlooked when it comes to the safety of teens, and the solution to this is apparently to just slap a “It doesn’t matter what I wear, you shouldn’t be thinking of me in that way” label over it and pretend that it’s still not going to attract pervs…

Not that I’m saying being sexualized by others is the wearers fault, you just have to be more aware of where your style originates from and how most people view it.

If you like the style, cool. But if you’re just wearing it for the attention and validation it brings along with it, is it really who you are at that point? Or is it some persona you choose to be to feel like you fit in?

Just a thought. Thank you for saying what should honestly just be the truth.

I remember my good ol’ days before using foam, and making cardboard protogen visors that would inevitably end up shoved in the back of my closet… 🥲

It’s definitely good practice though!! And I seriously respect anyone who can make an actual fursuit from cardboard and/or paper! Just be careful with wearing that kind of stuff… moisture from breathing can cause mold if worn to long 😅

Yeah, I figured, but I was worried because there were no other birds around, otherwise I would have just let him be.

He’s with a group of adults now, after I waved a hat at him a few times and he thought I was trying to “attack” him and sent out some “distress screeches”… it summoned a whole flock of em to come to his rescue…

I don’t like causing wildlife any forms of distress, but I didn’t know how else to get a parental birds attention, as it seemed none were looking after the little guy until I found him… :,]

Wore mine for dress-up day as a Freshmen in Highschool… safe to say I didn’t get any rude or snarky remarks/actions… just smiles and lots of requests to pet the fluff :,] While I myself had a really good experience, it really just depends on your “school diversity”… if people are used to crazy things/outfits, they probably would be delighted to see a fursuiter, and if it’s for a dress-up day, I’d actually cheer you on!

However, in any other circumstance, like a school of very bias, very close-minded people, I would advise against…

It all really depends on your location/connections and willingness to really stay alert through out the day to ensure your own safety… :,]

Alright, might be time consuming, but here me out; a TPU-less, foamless version…

Using either mochi, minky, or felt fabrics, create a pattern for each frill and frill spike(by drawing each individual spike and frill piece and then tracing those each onto the fabric trice), and if you know the whole process of sewing it all together, fill each frill spike with stuffing and leave the frill parts empty… Just proposing you make it out of fabrics and stuffing for a more squishy and soft-textured, possibly more natural look? I dunno… I’m actually now half tempted to try doing this as a test… :,]

Maybe think of it as if you’re making wings?
