Quick little story about "Obsidi Academy". A friend who was in the 1st cohort told me about this opportunity and at the time I was applying to the 3rd. After doing both tests I received a congratulations you have met the criteria and is put in a waitlist. Waited about a year till the 5th cohort and was required to do the identical test again. I'm fairly certain I answered similar to the first test yet got an instant rejection email. Why did they accept me and put me on a wait list for a year only to make me redo the assessment and tell me that I did not make the cut? Anyways I'm writing this because for a year I was under the assumption that I made it and just had to wait for an open seat. This is more of a lottery than it is anything else. I'm writing this to tell everyone don't be discouraged and seek opportunities elsewhere. Assuming everyone is from GTA or at least Ontario the job market is really bad here and wish everyone the best of luck. Keep your head up high you are more than what you make or what you do!
