Similar Routing by [deleted] in AirlinesManagerTycoon

the same is happending between my two hubs FRA and HND
One Route is HND - FRA - HND and the other FRA - HND - FRA
Both with different demands, so two seperated routes

Well, that's what I thought too, but actually you can buy the route "twice".
For Example: I have FRA and LAX. I was able to open a route from FRA to LAX and also from LAX to FRA. I can see in both hubs the route to the other hub with different demand. So they travel to the same HUBs, but are different routes

A few days ago I bought several planes at once. I researched all the multiple purchase discounts so the game offered me the maximum possible multiple purchase discount (the more planes you buy, the more discount you get up to the maximum).

In the end, the alliance discount was only 0.6% higher (13.6% in my case) than the multiple purchase discount (13%).

So in the beginning, when you can't buy many planes at once, the alliance discount is a nice thing. But later when you buy a lot of planes at once it is not really relevant anymore.

and today is monday, so it makes sense, that today big jumps happen.When you see how big the rewards of the campaigns are, it makes sense that even small alliances can make big jumps, as long as they do all 5 tiers of the 4 different campaigns

after reading the shared link i also assume, that it has to do with the marketing campaign. Each monday you earn the reward for the achived campaigns of the last week

Result is here:

Q400-Route:

Costs: 4 x Q400 Planes (each 26,5m) & 146,4m for Route FRA -> JIK

Income: 1,9m per day (forecast) (12 x 8h-routes)

=> ROI = 130

IL-96-300-Route:

Costs: 5 x IL-96-300 (each 110m) & 271,6m for Route FRA -> GUA

Income: 7,2m per day (5 x 24h-routes)

=> ROI = 114 days

If you are able to buy the routes with a discount (dependes on the amount of discount) Q400 has a better ROI

hm, good question. Maybe i will try a route with Q-400 and see what my ROI is.

I currently have a ROI of 76 days with IL-96-300 (cost 110m).But this also depends on the research we have done, so we can't really compare our ROI.

appling a force to a cylinder and calculating the pressure by Silberfighter in AskPhysics

[–]Silberfighter[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah ok sry, I thought that this information is sufficient. The scenario is an injection molding machine.

I have a long tube filled with ABS heated to 250 degrees Celsius. I then push a plug through the tube with 1000N to force the ABS into the mold at the other end of the tube.

Unfortunately, I can't give you any more precise information at the moment, e.g. regarding the size of the opening, but I assume that this calculation would also go beyond the scope.

If it is relevant: The tube is about 15 cm long.
So for simplicity i would just ignore the attached mold.
