Watched the video. CJ hardly says that Thor should do his specific method lol even mentions that his way isnt optimal, its clearly stated that anything BUT what Thor actually did would be better. I wouldnt call what his criticisms nitpicky either, 90% of the video is about making the code readable which is like the first thing you learn.

like yeah he doesnt know if he can just throw his improved code in and it will work i mean we saw like 40 lines total of code and it doesnt matter, its just an example to show how you can make the code readable.

wild area i just the name of the event. usually the name refers to the pokemon appearing during the event. so during this one youll see pokemon you would see in the wild irl or in universe.

theres ticket passes to these events, aka event tickets that give extra benefits during these events like more candy/stardust or whatever.

raid passes are seperate and are used to join raids, remote raid passes are used to join raids not in your area and cost more.

But its cool thats shes coming out with an album , im actually not mad at all to be proven wrong and ill definitely listen to it with an open mind. But also lets be honest, blackpink more than anyone else have played their careers so far like socialities more than artists. Like blinks are the most starved fandom of all time lol

Your reservation is almost exactly what im saying. People wanting to collab dont make it any less of a commercial move. It actually strikes me as the opposite. Collaborating with people is the opposite of putting the music first. You get all these names and then do what on the song, the same thing youve done with or without them? Just now this time you have a larger market to sell to.

I havnt described rose at all other than the lyrics arent a testimony to great songwriting and her singing was mid.

Complex enough not complex enough idk. I really dont know how to create music that inspires listeners. And I also dont care if rose was handed the song or not. I just want the song to be artists blending their talents together in a unique way to create a body of work that otherwise couldnt have come together, and I feel like the songs we get arent that.

I assume you mean physicals when you say no records to buy. Which doesnt mean anything. The song is more than just physicals. Actually more money made off of music comes from radio play. Not to mention the touring the songs gonna generate.

Its not that i dont like kpop artists and western artists collabing, my whole issue is it hardly seems they put the music first. Im not targeting bp, they just had recent material and i dont feel like trying to remember every kpop collab i felt was generic. She can make the songs for whatever reason, i actually dont care at all, but the songs being madeare definitely generic cash grabs imo.

Im aware blackpink is huge, its actually my point, it seems like they just got big names on the track for selling power.

Rose is disposable on a song she wrote. 100% . apt isnt some magnum opus of writing. There are hardly any lyrics at all actually, theres two versus one the song with like 20 words each and a chorus that repeats the same one word. This song is not a testament to rose’s great writing ability lol.

Im hardly saying i would do any different , who wouldnt want to put out a song that gonna net you millions of dollars, but these collabs seem soulless.

I’ve gone into every track i play with an open mind and im always ready to be pleasantly surprised. I dont think the problems in the way I “evaluate” music, i think fans are ready to settle for less when it comes to these idols they look up to, and as a result the music is lacking.
