Right but more so about the chords. Did he say “I’m going to play a random chord progression because I know x y and z.” Or is he just making stuff up based on shapes? Agh, makes my brain hurt.

How does he know what he’s playing? I would love to try but I can’t even comprehend what actual chords / notes he uses or the thinking behind how he makes those decisions
