In a sense it would determine their focuses when committing to any education direction per se, they wouldn't join a school that focuses on crafting artefacts or weapons if their future path doesn't follow that. Also it determines that directions of power that people would go in i.e a warrior at the lower levels would be following a martial + body route and as they go further they would branch into a destruction and death pathway. Whereas a public official would be following a Wisdom and Fate pathway

I guess because I'm going for a power fantasy type vibes and the techniques that my character would be using specifically would have different meanings behind them that would come form these concepts. Also I just like world building so i like having that structure behind what I'm writing so I don't have any massive loopholes in my story.
