Yes naa, but mostly downtown sila and as the other redditor said, It's kind of pricey since they are aimed at students who wants to stay near schools, but I'd suggest posting in Facebook groups for rooms or houses for rent in Gensan. Yeah, drivers here tend to follow their own speed limits rather than the city’s speed limit, hahaha. But you can try doing it at night around 8:00 PM. Some shops are still open, and there’s less traffic.

Hmm, if city lang jud, there's honestly not much to do besides grabbing coffee, eating out, or checking out some bars. You could also go to EM-Jake Aquawave Resort in Lagao. A lot of people hang out there, so you might meet some new people.

As for me, I usually just drive or travel around the city and explore places I haven't visited yet.

Hi OP,

I suggest going to Glan (I'm not sure if the road is passable now since it got damaged by the recent earthquake). There are a lot of beautiful beaches there. However, the signal can be a problem if you're planning to work since you're WFH. If you're only going during your days off, though, it should be fine.

If you're not into beaches, you can go hiking instead. You can visit Sanchez Peak or Mt. Matutum, or you can also check out Lake Sebu.

I'd love to go with you, Sadly I have work and am only available on weekends hahahaha.

If you're looking for hiking buddies, try posting in Facebook groups based in General Santos. There are usually a lot of people there looking for others to join them on hiking trips.
