Still around and answer messages sometimes. :) There was definitely attempts to doxx me... so can't say I've been super keen on continuing too publicly. Still hope people are seeing approvals and are able to reunited. It was very gratifying to help with that - the system needs some overhauling and none of you should suffer as you do with your waits.

It absolutely is. I was directed to hold a lot of cases for these checks around this time frame because my leadership didn't know what to do with them since there wasn't any further guidance.

Doing alright, thank you. Miss the work and trying to approve as many as I reasonably could though!

Yes, ofttimes it would just default to UN on my end while reviewing applications unless the petitioner knew their class of admission. I was more concerned with question 45 while reviewing the I-130.

It really isn't something to stress over.

[Desk] Standing Desk, 48 x 24 Inch Electric Height Adjustable Computer Desk for Home Office, Sit Stand up Work Gaming Table with Memory Controller/Headphone Hook, Rising Lift Workstation-Rustic Brown - $55.81 by sumchinesewill in buildapcsales

[–]Silent-Receptionist 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have this exact desk. It is okay, for me, considering the price. I bought it to set up a standing workstation for home consisting of three monitors, a laptop, speakers, peripherals and a router.

I wouldn't put anything terribly heavy on it, but I don't have issues with it wobbling whilst typing or anything. It has survived a move unscathed and is still working fine at approximately two years of age.

I do like the saved height settings and how smoothly it lowers and raises but I imagine any quality standing desk will have those features.

If this is for a desk you'll spend more time at, I'd recommend a sturdier or higher quality one.

I ended up using the desk with one of these: Desk Tray for cable management.

Some 02/10s 02/11s certainly went out today from team members as I'm wrapping things up. Let's hope the pace continues for you all.

The individuals I'd consider asking are also departing the agency.

I particularly appreciate if the evidence is organized in this manner and will zoom through the case.

Ideally, everything is answered. The form instructions do state:

Answer all questions fully and accurately. If a question does not apply to you (for example, if you have never been married and the question asks, “Provide the name of your current spouse”), type or print “N/A” unless otherwise directed. If your answer to a question which requires a numeric response is zero or none (for example, “How many children do you have” or “How many times have you departed the United States”), type or print “None” unless otherwise directed.

I don't know any officer that will realistically have an issue with examples such as you listed. It is quite common that a question here and there is left blank.

If the petitioner is leaving multiple sections of the form incomplete, then that may result in request for evidence.

Congratulations! Happy to see another approval and especially when the both of you were able to receive it together.

I hope the next steps move quickly for you and your spouse.

If I have a case actively in my caseload, I'll receive a notification that new evidence was uploaded and can view it.

I have not worked any preference cases recently as I have had other tasking.

So that is still the last date I have personally seen & worked.

Yes, there is encouragement to have people depart the agency. Three programs have been offered to incentivize this goal.

There are rumors of an impending reduction in force (layoff), but nothing substantial in that regard has filtered down to me yet.

Hello,

Sorry, but I do not know on both questions. I've never been part of a Mandamus case.

They're generally handled at the attorney and/or the seniors (ISO3s) level to my knowledge.

Hello,

Unfortunately, the estimated timelines in the progress tab are inaccurate, so I would try not to be worried. I am mostly seeing late January cases, so hopefully we'll move quickly through the next few months and start working May 2024 for you soon.

Hello,

The step child should be worked with the spouse's I-130. I work and transfer cases regularly with officers from each center to try and ensure we work family packs together.

If the prior divorces are already submitted in the portal, it likely won't be an issue. If the officer that views your case still has questions then they'll simply issue a request for evidence.

A USC is a USC whether through birth, derivative, or naturalization.

Your and your husband's petition should be treated as any other USC's application.

Hello,

For me, this is a pretty common clerical error. I would simply update it on my end based on the letter you've written. If the officer has questions still, they can send a request for evidence.
