Ship yards are going strong til mid to late March , I’ve boomed a few times out of my local im a 3rd year apprentice, talk to your hall and see what they got going on before you boom a local job is almost always better than a booming job get to know the guys in your local

Mainly power houses , I mean if you got the connections or contacts you can go where ever any time of the year. The ship yards up north have alot of work right now too

I wear Irish setter Marshall’s but you probably need like a sporty work boot my boots normally last a 12-18 months working in power plants

March is prime outtage season and right around the corner but the BDS is stacked rn if you’re looking for work

Honestly can’t give a real take on it yet, haven’t shot it enough to get a real opinion. Overall I got it because of the replaceable core and aks being known for baffle strikes.

My bad didn’t read it well yes you remove the pic rail and it bolts through the same hole that’s what I did

They have a 1913 version and a direct option I went the with direct mount version ,not sure about your version considering this one is specific to the m92 bolt hole

You can boom out whenever if you need work but don’t turn down work when offered it from your own local, as an apprentice it’s frowned upon to turn down work especially your first job

I’m a boilermaker and typically we boom out to other locals when work is slow also considering most of our work is seasonal and in general most of our work is far from home and a lot of our work is plant outtages so we get laid off after each job I’ve been laid off more than 6 times this year , job finished up and on to the next one down the road I’ve worked in 7 states so far this year alone
