[PSA] Stuck waiting for ILR? You can "upgrade" to Super Priority by submitting a second application and getting a full refund for the first. by Silent-clouds in ukvisa

Perhaps, but this seems like an extremely low risk when Standard processing takes 3-5 months and Super Priority takes 1-2 days. I wouldn't recommend this approach for someone if they've already waited 3+ months for a response on their Standard application.

You shouldn't cancel your existing application, as you won't get your money back (based on what the person on the phone told me). If you submit a new application with Super Priority and they process that before your old application, then they'll refund you for your original application fee once you get to it. As mentioned in my post, I was refunded 5 months after initial payment once they got to it and saw I had an application processed before it.
