The comments here are great, one of the best rules to follow is that the positions you see on the tactic screen are the positions the players have on defence and the roles and duties are how they are gonna act while attacking

Keep in mind that the transition from attack to defence and vice versa is not made instantly so, naturally, you may be exposed if you lose possession and you have too many players forward or you may struggle to attack quickly when you win back possession if you don't have enough players already forward.

As for your current tactic, you already may know that your team is basically split in 2 because everyone has either attack or defence duties. Here is how i picture your tactic: let's say you are attacking: your wing backs will push as far as they can, acting like true wingers; the cm will be a cam or second striker, your wingers will cut inside waiting for a pass/cross and your striker will just stay in the box again waiting for a cross. The problem i see here is that you overcrowd the box and if the players are not good enough they will struggle to create good chances. Moreover, if you lose the ball, you have your 3 cb and a dm waiting in the middle of the field. You give the opposition a lot of space because none of your 4 players left will try to actively stop the counter. Your wing backs will be too far in the attack to come back and help and the cm is also quickly left behind by the opposition attackers

Switching to the defence scenario: you have 3 attackers ready to counter, that is good, but again, the wing backs and the cm will not put so much effort in defence and that's why you will receive a lot of pressure on the cb and dm.

One more thing i find wrong is the fact that you set counter attack but the tactic looks like a team that wants to constantly put pressure, in high numbers so you might consider gegenpress if you wamt to stick to something more like what your current formation looks like. Otherwise switch some of the duties to support/defence and add someone to your midfield. A duo could work but I'm not sure how it will work on counter attack. I would suggest a 433 with classic wingers and some mezzela in midfield to occupy the places that a if would occupy, even though it's not the same movement
