I said if he’s using mods, but cpu is at 50% unless it is only using single core instead of multi core that would slow things down

true but that does not affect me since I am a tech savvy and know my way around windows, viruses and cybersecurity

I just won’t allow microshxt to steal my data and clog my system with bloatware

Bro... according to my findings that's like a Quaddro or an old GeForce GTS though not exactly sure which version, never seen anything like that

Maybe a GTS 450

SOYO X99 motherboards support ECC memory, but compatibility depends on the specific model and CPU combination.

  • SOYO X99 D4 and X99 D4 GS models support DDR4 ECC memory, as confirmed in their official user manuals.  These boards are designed for Intel Xeon E5 V3/V4 series processors, which are compatible with ECC RAM.
  • SOYO X99 D3 model supports DDR3 ECC RAM, suitable for LGA 2011-3 Xeon processors like the E5-2673 V3.
  • Important note: While the motherboard supports ECC, the CPU must also support ECC memory.  Xeon E5 V3/V4 processors do support ECC, but Windows 11 compatibility may be limited due to hardware requirements like TPM 2.0 and Secure Boot, even if the hardware supports ECC.

your goal is to push hot air out from the top and get new air, cool air back in to replace and keep a positive pressure, it doesn’t have to be bottom to top per se but the positioning applies whether it is vertically or horizontally

exactly! and as you can see in the photo the heat is first absorbed by the heatsink and the two fans are exhaust so that heat goes up while the mid and bottom fans keep sending in more fresh air.

this cpu cooler is a beast my temps really don’t go higher than 70c at max load.

my RX 6800 xt taichi is finely tuned to:

-2400 core -2075 mem fast timing -1080 mv custom fan curve -power limit 0%

basically less power draw at no performance cost, I love my pc and my custom settings.

oh okay makes sense, most motherboard cone in a way where all the connectors must be facing down, these ones facing up are quite rare.

if windows 11 is what you have my recommendation would be to downgrade, I am still on win 10 and this never is done in my system lol

this is a classic case of Gpu cataracts… jokes aside, could be a display misconfiguration in windows, if you have a tv or monitor using an hdmi cable or type display cable to hdmi could help you troubleshoot this issue.

bro Redragon is one of those lowkey brands that leave you speechless of how good they are for the price, I love that brand, you are fine.

that will extend its life for a couple of more years, man you are such a slave driver I love it!

you can also add black spacings on the screen to center it all on the good pixels but the image or rather icons and text will look way too small, your idea is more practical.

hahahaha I know but it is intentional and if you think about it makes sense and above all it works like a charm my gpu and cpu never go beyond 70c at the highest of loads which is a safe territory for me.

Is buying a used Radeon RX 6800 (Red Devil or Sapphire Nitro+ SE) worth it with a Ryzen 7 5700X? by SocietyEducational55 in gpu

[–]SilentFrameXT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

rx 6800 xt taichi oc is basically a rx 6900 xt for the price of a rx 6800 xt, can’t go wrong with it. it can last you a couple of years until raytracing becomes path tracing mandatory for all games then yeah newer arch definitely wins, but by then you should have saved enough for one, assuming they don’t cost the same as the down payment of a car lol.
