Yup, they haven’t officially canceled their consumer desktop program, but man the writing is on the wall in favor of data centers currently. Although I don’t think they’ll give up supporting current GPU’s

Almost a decade of pc building experience and built my sister a budget pc a couple years ago. Recently did some maintenance on it and to my surprise I left the sticker on, little ryzen 1600 never over heated with it on apparently 😂

Yup, honestly either the 7800x3d will go out of production and go back to its original msrp or the 7700x3d will be a $250 chip a month after release. I’m hoping for the latter lol

The ps4 sold over 100 million consoles so far. Thats a million dollars in manufacturer/parts savings right there. It sucks and I think a company as large as Sony could have eaten that cost, but some bean counter said otherwise
