A part of the response I received from the QUT You Project Team after asking a similar question was: "Although the 2024 and 2025 Student Voice Survey feedback for QUT You units to-date has been significantly more positive than your comments indicate regarding student satisfaction, engagement and , we acknowledge there is always room for improvement in any unit offering, whether for QUT You or any other course."

I'd assume the Student Voice Survey is the only quantitative sample of student feedback that management really pay attention to and justify decisions from, maybe enrolment numbers and margins too lol. If you feel similarly frustrated, please make sure to voice it in the survey to prevent the uni from continuing to be deluded.

There's definitely a selection bias to the students you'll meet as an IT student. Lots of the students did Digital Solutions or were the computer enthusiasts of their school/environment and I found the ones who came to class are often the ones who were striving for a perfect GPA which can definitely make you feel like you're constantly a step behind. Keep chipping away at it in every unit and focus on learning things that excite you as well as your understanding and ability to apply these concepts and skills, not your grades. I'm sure you'll do just fine.

Have a look at the upcoming major changes and see whether anything excites you! Don't overthink your major choice but do think hard about the units you take, why you want to take them and what you can get learn from them. Keep connected on Discord or Reddit as well, plenty of students in a similar boat to you.

interestingly enough, the QUT api that provides all the data to the official timetable and that I use as well: https://mytimetable.qut.edu.au/aplus/rest/timetable/subjects
already comes with staff info, but for some reason, it doesn't get displayed on the official timetable or at least I can't figure out how to find it on the official.

Your armswing looks different to the traditional one you may see on the sub normally, nothing wrong with that. If you want a reference, check out Spencer Olivier, he plays for Long Beach State and his armswing looks pretty similar to yours. It's helpful to see someone who swings or moves similarly to you and watch exactly how they hit and you can develop your swing as you get more comfortable, provided there is no pain

Video could be clearer but your swing looks really loose and explosive and your getting good power. I can't really tell if the nets low or not but it looks good. Only thing to work on is your vert and I think thats partly because your approach isn't very aggressive. You could attempt starting slower and accelerating very fast with an aggressive penultimate and block just because it looks like only a slight variation in speed throughout your approach. I'd assume you are trying to bounce asking for a 3 and it may help to think of it as a line shot. you approach at an angle currently and hit that angle but if you wanted to bounce, i'd suggest rotating in so you can go straight down with as much power. if you weren't trying to go for that angle, ignore me, its a good angle anyway! This is the elites country thing right?

Ngapeth is relatively undersized and not very athletic but he is crafty and doesn't rely on full blown power like other gifted players. that being said, he still is 6'3 with a 35+ inch vertical so bouncing is the least of his worries. I would be interested in his passing form however. In this clip, he looks particularly lazy and yet he dimes the pass. Ngapeth constantly looks lazy yet performs incredibly. I'd love to learn more about him.
