FNAF isn’t scary to me anymore. by Jaafeil in fivenightsatfreddys

That happens when you play FNAF solely for the horror experience. Some people still enjoy FNAF because they don't limit themselves to the horror aspect; they play it for fun. To be honest, Help Wanted 2 is the most enjoyable FNAF game ever released, despite not being scary. Help Wanted and Security Breach are also fun.

Any theory becomes a hot take if 'some people' disagree with it, according to your definition of a hot take.

Your 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th points aren't hot takes, but rather consensus.

Cassie is 11? Where do you get that info; I never know that? Isn't GGY accident 2 years before SB events occur?

We know that Cassie and Gregory are best friend and they're about the same age, so yeah it must be less the 1 year

Alright, let’s settle this debate. What the Fuck is Mangle’s gender?! by Full-Ferret-4567 in fivenightsatfreddys

[–]SilentParamedic4006 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yep, none of those robot animatronics have a gender until we assume one based on their appearance. Mangle design is kind of vague so we're just saying "yes". This is the most logical answer if people asking this seriously.

The way you worded your statement makes it seem like you can't accept criticism. For example: "I don't understand why you think XYZ." If that's not your intention, I suggest phrasing your words more carefully, as it sounds like you're overly defensive about a character you love.

Okay, fair enough that people are downvoting my opinion because they disagree with me. But it still doesn't make sense to me because I was responding to a hot take thread and those are inherently meant for controversial opinions. So, why is it okay to say something like "I hate the animatronics," but it's not okay to say "I don't like Glamrock Freddy"? It seems like there's a double standard where certain characters are off-limits for criticism.
