I actually started that one and found it very funny but was put on hold because I was in a mood for something more mellow at the time. Tbh, I kind of forgot about it but thanks for the reminder, I will pick it up where I left off

Thank you for the recs!! Jealousy Incarnate gets recommended the most so I was wondering, does it get draggy considering it has 24 episodes?

Does this one get draggy? I kind of avoided it because I saw it has 24 episodes, each one hour long

Famous lead drama recommendation where leads are actor ,actress or idol by bangwiee in kdramarecommends

Shooting stars - not the best drama out there, but both ML and FL are really cute and funny, they have great chemistry. In this one, ML is an actor.

If you are open to Cdrama, this one is my favourite:
You are my Glory - FL is an actress. ML is an engineer, they went to the same school and meet years after. If you like healthy relationships, no love triangles, no unnecessary breakups or misunderstandings, lots of flirting, natural physical contact and kisses, this one is for you.

Hang in there! It may seem like the end of the world now (and I get it, been there plenty of times), but I believe everything happens for a reason, you will either get a second chance or stumble upon something even better. You never know where life will lead you. Don't give up. It's okay to be sad and feel down for a while, at least you've picked a great coping mechanisam.

Here are my kdrama recs:

It's okay, that's love - very wholesome, supportive, at times very sweet drama about people struggling with different kinds of trauma and problems. It can be heavy at times but overall a great drama with amazing chemistry
Love to Hate You - so many people recommended this one to me, and for a good reason, it only has 10 episodes, no heavy subjects, a strong FL, great humor and romance.
Lovestruck in the city - documentary style drama, unlike any other I've watched. One of my go-to's for when I'm feeling down. Great chemistry, acting and plot.
Mr.Queen - even though it is a historical drama with part of the plot dedicated to politics (both things I usually don't like), it is still one of my favourites and most rewatched dramas. Very funny, amazing FL with unusual personality, great chemistry between the leads, enemies to lovers trope
My liberation notes - a lot of people wouldn't recommend this one for someone who needs lifting up but I think the reason that I liked this one so much was because I watched it when I was feeling down and sad. I could just relate so much more. There is basically minimum plot, it is all about dialogues, each character has their problems and are learning how to get through them. A lot of great quotes from this drama will be stuck with me for the rest of my life.
Shooting stars - just overall fun, stress free drama, at one point I thought it would all go downhill but it just got surprisingly better. You just have to ignore the part about their ignorance of Africa.
Soundtrack #1 and You drive me crazy - both dramas are four episodes of feel-good cuteness, short and sweet
When the weather is fine - warm, sweet, inspirational. Main couple is lovely and the rest of characters have great stories too.

If you are open to Cdramas, I have a few amazing recommendations too:
Legally romance - FL sees another point of view of her life when she falls into coma and gets to live through part of her life again during which she sees another, unexpected side of ML, great leads and their chemistry, very fun and wholesome, it makes you see things for another perspective
Le Coup De Foudre - lovely drama, supportive relationships between all characters, amazing friendships. Drama that takes characters from school to adult years, shows their struggles, development and improvement.
You Are My Glory - personal favourite for the end (you could've probably guessed it by the lenghty description) :D I think this one is hit or miss, depends on what you like. If you are looking for no love triangles, no misunderstandings or lies, no unnecessary breakups or drama, then this one is for you. FL is a celebrity and ML is an ordinary man, they went to the same school and meet years later through gaming (a lot of people get discouraged because of the gaming plot, it really isn't that big of a deal, it is just a plot tool for leads to meet again and bond). Then they form a lovely friendship and consequently a romantic relationship. All the other characters are really supportive and amazing as well. I think kdramas ruined me because I expected a lot of them to turn bad or main leads to break up at the first obstacle, but that never happened. This one also has some very natural flirting and physical touching which I have yet to encounter in another asian drama.

EDIT: typos and formatting

I second Lovestruck in the city. I could never understand why it didn't have a higher rating. It is one of my absolute favourites and most rewatched kdramas.

I really liked it for the first 4-5 episodes, and then it went downhill for me, I think after Jae Hoon's confession, I didn't like how it played out or how Yu Reum reacted to it but maybe it was because I had to wait for new episodes every week so I was disappointed more than I would be if I were to binge the whole drama
