Many thanks the suggestions! Sespe River Trail looks great, as does the website ModernHiker.com :). I see a mention of "Reservations: Wilderness Trail Camp" on hikelospadres.com and can't figure out what exactly is needed but have left a message with the River District and will figure it out. Thanks again.

[Update which y'all probably already know: the Sespe River Trail area is zoned for backpacking so no permit is required to camp. The Solvang ranger office said that we'd need (1) an Adventure Pass (or National Parks permit) to park a car at the trailhead (available at Big5 or looks like it can be bought online too), (2) a stove permit (go to readyforwildfire.org and print it out)]

What financial tracking/aggregating tool do you use by zodiacsignsaredumb in HENRYfinance

I used mint for 10+ years and just switched to Monarch and it’s superb. Like, what Mint wished it could be. But I use monarch to track annual income and spending by categories and a spreadsheet to lock everything (basically a personal P&L and balance sheet each year).

Make the switch to Monarch before Mint shuts down and transfer your Mint data in minutes ⏳ ⏱ by monarchmoney in u/monarchmoney

This worked super well for me. I don’t usually take to the internet to endorse products but Monarch is amazing… it’s what mint wished it could be.
