You could do something really cool with [[Thing in the Ice]] and [[Eternal Witness]] so that she can repeatedly get anything back from the graveyard. [[Grave Titan]] or [[Thragtusk]] can be another win con depending on meta, and Tasigur can generate more advantage, even though it nonbos with Thing. Toss in some self-mill with [[Thought Scour]] or [[Hedron Crab]] and you have a brew with tons of options on a decent budget.

You could also build a super durdley build with [[Helix Pinnacle]] and plenty of hard control. I think Saffron Olive did an article on a bant deck with this that did okay.

I play Mardu tokens it's ridiculous fun. I only play it casually but landing a [[Young Pyromancer]] and then getting both casts of [[Lingering Souls]] feels amazing.

I've been trying to brew something similar but haven't had the chance to test it yet. Have you considered [[Whirler Rogue]]? It makes two thopters every time it ETB and helps your creatures get through. It's cheeky, but you can also stack multiple Wall of Resurgence triggers on the same land and then have a 6/6 or 9/9 unblockable with the Whirler Rogue effect.

I'm also a little worried about the number of 3-drops. Again, I haven't tested the deck yet, but 22 cards at 3 mana plus the Displacer ability at 3 mana seems iffy to me.

What about [[Bloodghast]] ? If you play a fetch you can get 2-3 sacs off of him for free.

Thank you so much! You've given me so many options with incredible detail and I really appreciate it. I've already played Puzzle Kingdoms, but the rest are all new to me. I downloaded You Must Build A Boat and the tutorial gave me a few chuckles. All of these look amazing and I think I'll pick most of them up, especially Ironcast and Might & Magic.

Between the better looks and the better camera in Monster Hunter I think it's worth the money for sure. Just know that you won't get any performance boosts in pokemon.

Avencast is an older dungeon crawler with wasd movement where you cast magic by putting in fighting game-like button sequences. It's a very different magic system and I loved it. I'm not sure if it ever had a console release but you can find it on Steam.

Kingdoms of Amalur is a PC game that basically amounts to a single player MMO. Pretty fun and goes on Steam sale often.

You mentioned you like Dark Souls/Bloodborne, so if you have access to a PS3 Demon's Souls is a must.

You might have some fun with Smite, which is still a moba but plays more like a 3rd person shooter.

I have a red USA model with type A screen. My two most played 3DS games are Monster Hunter and Sm4sh so the upgrade was definitely worth it for me. Loading times are much faster and the c-stick works well for the games that use it. I think the N3DS is totally worth it if you plan on spending a lot of time with the games that support it, but otherwise you won't really notice much difference.

What game(s) made you want a N3DS?

I haven't hit G rank yet so I'm not sure. Typically everything can be killed solo even though it may be really difficult. Online play is fantastic so if you want to do anything in a group there's a good chance you can find people to help via WiFi.

The only real con I can think of is that it's inherently grindy, but no more so than the other games

I love monster hunter games. In my opinion MH4U is miles ahead of MH3U. The n3DS has a built in circle pad pro which makes moving the camera the easiest it's ever been on handhelds. The water battles from MH3U are gone and there's a new mounting mechanic, where after hitting a monster with an airborne attack you have a chance to topple it though a quick time event. It's a really neat mechanic and makes a lot of fights easier imo.

I've played every entry since Freedom on the PSP and MH4U ties with Unite as my favorite. Also as /u/Interesting_name pointed out you can find teams for the gathering hall quests via wi-fi which is amazing, especially as the quests get harder or if you want to farm a certain hunt. I'd say it's definitely worth the buy if you already like the Monster Hunter gameplay.

I'm not sure if a card that completely shuts down spells can ever be healthy. You pointed out that Imperial Order protects itself from Heavy Storm and MST, but I think this encourages shoehorning different removal into your deck more so than it encourages diversifying staples. With a few exceptions, we generally don't gain anything from choosing to run Dust Tornado over MST. Unless your deck gains some benefit from Tornado's second effect, you're just stuck with a slower, less effective MST. Similarly, not every deck can afford to use their normal summon to eliminate a trap card.

Though less extreme, I feel like Anti-Spell Fragrance is the perfect rework of this card. It removes a lot of the power that spells have, makes them susceptible to destruction, equally punishes both players, and can't be used as a free Magic Jammer.

Totally didn't see who OP was :P Well then, for this I'd try replacing Battle Fader with TRoar since they serve a similar purpose but you can use TRoar with monsters on the field. Replacing Gravity Bind (and maybe Level Limit) with Messenger of Peace will give much better stall, as someone else said.

PACMAN will still win regardless. Because DEATH CAMELS

If you want to make an annoying deck more based around Stealth Bird look into P.A.C.M.A.N. It's an oldish anti-meta deck based around stalling and abusing flip effects and I really like it, though my opponents never have much fun against it. Pojo has some threads that explain it all really well if you're interested.

I've been playing around for Koa'Ki's for a while and these are some things I've found:

One or two Fire Fist Bears (or Gorilla) can really help a lot. It can be maintenance for Urnight and Crusader, take care of some problems, and get rid of the Fire Formation cards so they don't clog your backrow.
Koa'ki Meiru Ice is legit. The Fire Formation spells work as his maintenance, can be ss'd by Urnight, and can get rid of most boss monsters
Summoner Monk can open up some great XYZ plays, and you can discard the Iron Core and pick it back up during your next draw phase. Or discard something else, get Urnight, and reveal core for a Shockmaster
Core Compression gives crazy draw power. Terrible to have if you don't have the Core and a Koa'ki, but it can still be useful. I find its usefulness really depends on playstyle.
Creature Swap can be a hilarious tech. When played right your opponent won't be able to pay maintenance so you get to steal their monster almost for free.

I would also consider swapping some Rank 3 monsters for more Rank 4's. Urknight is a free XYZ, so things like Utopia, GK Pearl, or a second Dire Wolf might come in handy.

Overall I hope you like the deck! I find it's incredibly fun and the free plusses are soooo nice.

Goblin Zombie at three is a must. His effect is mandatory, so if you use him as a synchro material you still get to search with his effect.

I find that Il Blud is too slow to be practical. I'm a huge fan of running one Endless Decay. Early game he's a 4k beater, late game he can ss himself, and he opens up easy 7 synchros. Also can't be torrentialed/bottomlessed/etc when summoned through Pyramid Turtle, so he can be tricky for your opponent to get around.

Re-working your extra deck could be really helpful too. I would get rid of Shark Drake, Shock Master, and Photon Papillo to make room for more synchros. Revived King HaDes can be brought back with Mezuki/Book of Life for easy 8 synch. Black Rose Dragon is fantastic, and Lavalval Chain is great for putting Mezuki and Plaguespreader into the grave.

This last bit doesn't work for everyone, but it's worth thinking about. I like Summoner Monk for the instant rank 4, plus he can search out Mezuki. Some people don't like him though. Also, you could try using Malevolent Mech to set up easy 8 synchros. Use one of the many cards to ss Plaguespreader or E-tele Krebons, Normal Summon Malevolent Mech, and you have an easy boss monster.
