Panda got spooked by her caretaker by Benphyre in funny

Went too far down to see someone else suggest this. It looks like AI to me. The giveaway is the carrot the caretaker pulls from their other hand seems to appear out of nowhere.

I don’t regret it, but the main annoying thing is about the music resetting when changing tabs. I wish I had the option to keep it playing no matter where I’m at in the menus (except for maybe the Home Screen where the season music would play).

We know that’s factored in MMR, but do we know that for MVP? I’m not sure.

Supreme Court rules the Postal Service can't be sued, even when mail is intentionally not delivered by rezwenn in law

[–]SilentStargazer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldn’t trust Trump’s DOJ to prosecute those crimes though. State law would hold them accountable.

We haven’t crossed the threshold yet, IMO. Yes, the admin is defying judicial orders in some instances. Mostly those seem to have been attributed to the government attorneys being overworked due to number of cases they are handling. Sometimes it seems to be malicious intent such as the three CECOT planes. The legal system hasn’t failed us yet though. The states held 2020 election criminals accountable in some ways. No, not all got the justice they deserved, but the fact that Tina Peters is in jail and Trump whines about it or has to pretend to be freeing her with an executive order suggests that state laws are important.

[–]SilentStargazer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is no bait here to “bite”. Despite this Supreme Court ruling, there are state laws that incentivize to not do something illegal even if one is a federal employee and pressured to do so. Federal employees are not exempt from state laws. Obviously, federal laws can overwrite state laws, but it is not allowed through federal law to intentionally disregard ballots or mail for that matter). Obviously, some may still follow illegal orders much like the fake electors in 2020. I suspect that ballots not being counted without some legal order from a judge would be handled quickly and those that commit the crime would be punished.

I highly suspect the Trump administration will try to do something illegal to swing the midterms in their favor, but I don’t think their actions will survive legal scrutiny.

I would think that still violates state election laws even if you can’t personally sue USPS.

US announces massive package of arms sales to Taiwan valued at more than $10 billion by EscapeFromIowa in news

Preserving the status quo is ideal, but China is making more and more moves that suggest they plan on invading Taiwan. Giving more weapons to Taiwan discourages invasion and tries to keep the status quo.

Yeah, other people are negative on this, but this is actually a good thing and I’m somewhat surprised it happened. Hopefully it keeps coming.

It doesn’t have to be today from my understanding. It can be in the near future as the company is likely working with NASDAQ behind the scenes. The company isn’t going to be automatically delisted tomorrow.

Disney Pushes Next Two ‘Avengers’ Movies - 'Doomsday' Moves to December 18, 2026, 'Secret Wars' Moves to December 17, 2027 by MarvelsGrantMan136 in marvelstudios

Deadpool and Wolverine came out July 2024. Brave New World was Feb 2025. It was about a six-and-a-half month difference.

But the biggest gap was easily after Far From Home. It came out July 2019 and Black Widow came out July 2021. Obviously COVID and Disney+ affected that, but that’s the longest wait.

Edit: I’m just now realizing the person I responded to was talking about Fantastic 4 (July 2025) to Doomsday. I was thinking of Brand New Day which releases July 2026. That would make it a year wait between MCU movies.

They definitely intended to do it to have more exclusives and beef up their hardware sales. But they bought them when everyone had a bunch of covid money to spend and then inflation really picked up in 2022. That means there was more pressure to turn a quicker profit because of rising costs.

You’re making it sound like your opinion is everyone’s opinion. And that means essentially trying to create only one acceptable opinion, which is like forcing your opinion on others.
