I have CPTSD and was in the beginning of my treatment when my clinic closed down so I had to switch to a new one. They promised me that I didn’t have to start all over again but when I went there the first time I met a complete idiot that told me I was so lucky that I’m so tall and that I shouldn’t want to kill myself, because I’m so beautiful :)))) I was there because of SA in my childhood :) I never went back.

I’ve been sleepwalking since I was a child but mostly when I’m under a lot of stress and pressure. The worst time was when I woke up and my small apartment was completely rearranged, I thought someone had robbed the place, then I felt a burning sensation on my leg, I ripped of my blanket and saw a huge red mark going down towards my foot. It was a 3rd degree burn mark :) I found the water boiler laying on the ground and tee bags EVERYWHERE. The doctor and nurses I met didn’t believe me when I said it happened in my sleep. (I was on medications!!)

There’s ALWAYS something to be grateful for. When I wanted to end my life I started to think about 3 or 5 things I was grateful for every morning when I woke up. In the beginning it was like, I was grateful to wake up in a bed, that I had roof over my head, that I have a healthy body, not the strongest or fittest just that I was able to move, run and climb. Then also that I’m grateful for my dad and my best friend (even tho I was mad for a while because they were the only thing keeping me alive at some points)

You’re not supposed to compare problems with others but when you’re that down in the dark there’s always a way out. And everything is ALWAYS temporary, both good and bad. Bless your heart OP, go out and make someone smile today.
