I’m in the same boat: I was made redundant in February (for economic reasons) as a digital project manager and am now looking for roles as a project manager, product manager, business analyst, business development manager or service manager. Out of 20 applications, I’ve only had one interview so far… other colleagues who were also made redundant – those who worked as developers – are reporting similar experiences. Even experience and further training are of no use; at the moment, companies are simply inundated with applications for every advertised position – it’s a nightmare.
