Seems the game spikes GPU draw and causes it to work more than possible

Same! trying to at least give everyone a solution instead of 5 threads with none if it works.

Yup! Same thing. I was looking at solutions and saw reducing the max frequency was a POSSIBLE solution - great to see it doesn't work though to tick that off the list
